TKO/KO doesn't seem like enough of a premium over just betting Yoel straightup. Was hoping it would be a little higher.

I think a decent % of his wins have to do with getting in on Izzy's long limbs and using that wrestling to win a few rounds.

He won't win a decision. They don't want a 42 year old champion, either.

85% of Romero's wins come by way of KO/TKO...

75% of his losses come by decision (he did win a few of those, though, Imo)...

For the record, it's a small wager like everything tonight, and I did almost put .5 unit on Romero +240 as well, and I still may add throughout the night.

And I'm also not scared to admit that Izzy most likely wins this fight, but I'm not laying the juice, nor do I hope he does...lol

He has run bad in decisions lately at the highest levels of competition....I thought he clearly lost Whitaker 1 3-2, but Whitaker 2 I thought he won (very close tho) and Costa I thought he won but obviously 3 rounds is highly subjective.

Agree Romero isn't what the UFC is looking for marketing wise but not always easy to screw a guy even if you want to.

Also, agree he probably does just get pieced up but if he can get in on those long limbs then I think he could grind 1 out just as likely as one of his freak hulk smash KO's.

Maybe I'll look for decision odds on him since it should be a premium.

Romero's low output is why he loses fights that go the distance. Even if he inflicts damage it still hurts him in the eyes of the judges.

He must incorporate his wrestling and step on the gas tonight.

Emily Whitmire’s UFC 248 experience just went from bad to worse.

After missing weight for her scheduled strawweight matchup with Polyana Viana by 1.5 pounds on Friday, she couldn’t get back to 100%, and due to complications was hospitalized Saturday in Vegas.

Her fight with Viana has been canceled

There goes my largest wager...lol

I think Viana was highly overrated to begin with, but I looked for her to rebound tonight and get away from being cut for now...Oh well...

Bingo. told my buddy that he cannot "take rounds off" tonight, and must be ready to bring the pain/ Hulk Smash for 5 rounds, or he'll lose, maybe even by stoppage. If he brings it like he can, though, I think the power is too much for Izzy. He cannot allow himself to get jabbed to death early and get frustrated, though. I'd rather see him run outta gas than take rounds off...

Enjoy the fights tonight...

Batgerel should’ve been for 1, but great start, nonetheless...

Landed 17 of his 33 significant strike attempts

Out-landed Cannetti 16-0 in head strikes

Super impressive

I thought Yoel won 1-2-5

I didn't expect him to get the decision since he always seems to get screwed on decision but I thought he won 3/5 rds. Guess we'll see what press row says, I usually never differ much from consensus opinion on decisions either.

Yeah not much happened in 1 and 2 but that's the sport, we go by round.

IMO it was the correct decision.

Typical Romero do nothing / no output fight.

He is dangerous but just is never willing to put out offense to make that danger felt.
