In a race totally devoid of speed, KING KNOCKER should have his way with this field. However, 6-5 after his career best effort and being wheeeled back in less than a week makes me want to beat him. ME AND THEE sparked off a 47.4 last week in the AM so maybe he's ready to fire one. I can easily back him at 12-1.

Although EXPLOSIVE GREEN might be the pick here, I will take a shot with FAPPIANO'SRJOURNEY. They shipped him over here for a reason and the others in here have too many weaknesses.

Del Mar Race 1
I like the effort by WINNING STRIPES on the Del Mar lawn and he's worked well since - loses Kent D to OUTTA HERE but lands Solis instead. I think I'm settling on a 3-5 exacta box.

I think we'll have a nice little pace duel here and that should be to the liking of our boy CERVEZA TOM (no relation). Lost with Alex in race 1 - he gets one more try.

Del Mar Race 4
Sometimes it's funny - no matter which race you look at the same damn jockey keeps popping up on the horses you like. Solis might be able to get another win for me on COTTON GIN. I'm thinking he'll go to the front and never look back.

Del Mar Race 5
I don't like being stuck on the rail but VERY VEGAS is still going to get the majority of my $$ here. She's got In Excess on mommy's side so you know she'll win early.
