Anyone have any good recommendations on board or card games? We have four kids and are trying to find anything to preoccupy them during this shut down, especially if it keeps them off their phones/gaming devices. Someone bought them the game Pandemic for Christmas, which is pretty solid, who knew it would be precursor to what was coming.

Been playing Skip Bo, which isn’t bad and worked even for my younger two. Had a friend say Sagrada was good, but haven’t checked it out yet.

My older two could probably get into a more strategic game.

Any thoughts or recommendations are greatly appreciated.

Buy a 1,000- 2,000 piece puzzle.

Keeps them busy and you can have control over the tv

Used to love Clue as a kid.

Axis and Allies is a good strategy game. The 1942 edition is far superior.

Axis and Allies is probably the most feasible game. It's just as good with two players as it is with 3-5. Most other games you need at least 3 or 4 players. Of course Chess and checkers. In terms of card games 5 man Briscola is an incredibly skilled card game. Tressette is also a great skilled card game.
