Closing through april 30th now

You knew that was coming. There was no way they were going to go against Federal guidelines. With that said, they will be one of the first tourist destinations to open shop when the coast is “somewhat” clear. No doubt about that.

I recall Venetian being $79 days after 911. Don't know why I remember that.

Why do you say that? Just out of necessity?

FULL ARTICLE https://www.bloomberg.com/news/arti...tives-discuss-reopening-with-dealers-in-masks

The city, the largest gambling market in the U.S., would open its giant casinos with as little as one-third of their rooms available. Entrances would be limited, and guests’ temperatures would be checked with noninvasive methods. Casino employees would wear masks and gloves, and gamblers would sit at least a chair apart at blackjack tables.

Nevada Governor Steve Sisolak, a Democrat, ordered all casinos in the state to close for 30 days in mid-March to prevent the spread of the coronavirus. He extended that order until April 30, but on Tuesday said the state wasn’t even close to ending the restrictions.

Gloves and masks? Temperatures being checked at the entrances? Las Vegas is completely fucked!

Las Vegas mayor said today that the shutdown is, "insanity." Agree 100% as we shut down when we had three cases and no deaths. We now have about 110 deaths which is in line with other states shut down or not. Our Governor actually tightened sactions last week. Citizens won't put up with it past May 1st as protests are already breaking out first focused on church shut-down on Easter.

Even when lifted it's going to take a while for people to be comfortable being packed into casinos.

Convention business is dead.

I have a reservation for the last weekend in May. Sunset Station. If open by then, I'll be heading up.

And be completely comfortable. With my bottle of hand sani and wipes in tow..
