For the vast majority the flu is far worse - I have never seen or heard of anyone with flu that felt great (no symptoms) - for the people that get symptoms it seems the flu is much worse - BUT for the rare 3-5% that really get the affects it is much worse - it's also worse in the contagion aspect - typically flu is near 1 person spreads it to about 1 person - this is like for every one person with it he infects 3 other people
most people that get the Chinese flu , don't know it , or have mild symptoms.... If you get some serious symptoms , the symptoms are flu like.. that's an accurate comparison.. its not like the Chinese flu matches up well with a back ache... nothing with this kind of thing is ever exactly similar , but there are similarities here... we'll see how the final numbers play out.. could be a little worse.. could be a little better
