I just made it official, tied the knot with the old lady over the weekend in a private quarantine style ceremony w/ a few witnesses. How long will the honeymoon stage last? Any advise and tips? all stories welcomed.

Congrats. My advice... Weather any storms that may come together, enduring love builds over time and overcoming adversity. Don't bail when things get rough, not
saying they will, but sometimes they do.

26 years with my wife, and it just keeps getting better.

advice = be honest and open about finances and expectations around kids, religion, child rearing, savings, investing, etc ... also don't love your individuality...it's important to still watch games with the guys and allow her to have plenty of girls-nights-out. and make sure your biggest life accomplishment was being 9th man on your high school basketball team

I dont think Mobby is so bad. His biggest problem is that he cannot have an intelligent disagreement with anyone over the age of 35.

Married and happy for over 35 years. Talking to each other so that you understand/hear each other's point of view is important. I agree with C.P., pick your battles. Compromise is key. Every once in a while, you might have to admit that you're wrong. Congratulations, and I hope you have a long and happy marriage.

Lots of good advice - here is one I will add

There will come a time she needs to vent about a bad day at work or maybe some relationship with friend/family

Strongly recommend you listen and just let her vent.
