Naturally hand sanitizers ,turlet paper, towel paper, napkins, Kleenex, baby wipes, anything you can wipe your (__*__) with, really, baby wipes, even cheap Walmart washcloths ?

stuff like masks, rubbing alcohol, bleach, bar or liquid hand soap, laundry soap, shampoo, peroxide, etc. will likely be scarce.

The above stuff has a shelf life about forever.

I more expected food be higher priority, but people do buy water.

I'm sure they'd hoard gasoline and heating oil, if there were a way to do so

it will take awhile for these items to populate the shelves soon.

Fortunately I buy that stufff on sale, so I'm good for a long time. I could use some rubbing alcohol though !

I use it to make lens cleaner, 3 parts alcohol to one part water with about 2 drops of Dawn

I think food was with the initial lockdown. I think people know it is not the apocalypse plus some places are limiting stuff. People also don't want to leave the house as much or have as much money. I think local stores near by as opposed to grocery chains are having cleaning supply shortages. Will be interesting to see what happens with stimulus checks and if people stock up more.

I think the opposite, more like you would find the stuff at high priced convence stores than discounters

I see much of the stimulus monies being spent on stuff like appliances, furniture, clothing, shoes, maybe a car repair, new tires.....stuff like that for the poorest people, as they build up huge unpaid bills.

The more lower middle class will be wiser with it, the 6 figure + folks will get zero

fact is a lot of the people lower down, need it the most and will spend it instantly, hopefully at least not on drugs ?

At my local grocery store a couple days ago:

- No TP
- No canned soup
- Limited canned beans, veggies
- No pasta of any kind

Pretty much everything else was available

Exactly why I stock up on non-perishable on sale

Eggs have like tripled in price in a month or so

I guess hens don't lay anymore, now ?

Luckily, I'm a bit of a prepper. So, I'm stocked up pretty good.

No TP, or paper towels. No dish soap or cleaning supplies.

They've been out of eggs the last two weeks. Had to drive to a different store and they were almost out.

I'm going to have to get up earlier to buy what I need.

Eggs in short supply due to Easter and kiddos wanting to color them for the ole egg hunts......dont know if that has any truth to it but its sounds good
