Seems as if multiple companies are making progress on a vaccine.
I'm starting to think about making a smallish vaccine play in a solid company in an industry that right now looks hopeless.

I'm interested in knowing what your top "Vaccine Play" would be.

I like Alaska airlines as my "Vaccine play" forgive the pun but I'd almost take a "Flier" on this one.
IMO they are one of the best companies flying today.. with a vaccine this would double quickly from where it is today..

Market Summary > PNC Financial Services Group Inc
NYSE: PNC
101.13 USD −2.93 (2.82%)

PNC Financial PNC recently announced the completion of the sale of its ownership stake in BlackRock, Inc. BLK. The company sold 31.6 million shares of BlackRock at a price of $420 per share.

Notably, the underwriters also exercised their previously-announced option to purchase an additional amount of BlackRock shares. Blackrock’s repurchase of 2.65 million shares from PNC Financial at a price of $414.96 per share was also completed.

Also, the divesture of stake in BlackRock will free PNC Financial from any regulatory obligations associated with the ownership of a large position in another diversified financial services company.

Shares of PNC Financial have recorded a year-to-date fall of 39.1% compared with the 43.5% decline recorded by the industry.

The next earnings their numbers are going to be thru the roof. I freeded up a lot of cash yesterday selling a lot of stocks I bough for the dividend and I'm rolling it into PNC.

Thanks Pal..YOU have been crushing it.
it's not a half bad amount..I'll hold till it's around 65.
I'm closing on a property on July 7th and looking for another..I sold a home in southern Cal earlier this year and trying to beat the Cap gain cut off.
Rentals are my plan...So many distressed rental properties showing up on the market here right now.

I bought the same time you did as well. Happy about it. Just took a little off the table to purchase another rental house as well. I'll hold the rest.

Up 100%+ on a couple other ones as well, so I may take 1/3 off the table and take on 2 new rentals...

Continued success to you, sir...

somehow I missed this till today..
This has to be a rush/fun.

"I flash trade , I buy 1000-4000 shares at a time and sell them when they go up .04-.10 cents, if the stock goes down i buy more, and sell the less expensive stock for a .10 per share profit. I do this 10-30 times a day on average. I don't touch stocks below 20$ i like the 40-90$ range because they have sufficient data on their daily volatility volume ect, and how far out their ex date is out. I only buy 2 stocks that don't pay a dividend amazon and google. I started doing this on TradePlus in 1986 buying 100 shares and waiting for it to go up a dollar. I buy most of my stock between 9:30 and 10:30 am and at 3:59 pm. I invest 75% in power power utilities that have solar parks, they are like printing money and telecom because worked in that field , even had my own routes and equipment in Mexico, and Africa and Jamaica so I know and the economics and the laws well. I don't have the risk tolerance for options",

American Airlines looks decent.....would you consider?

Year high of 30.00 sitting @ 16.00 and the brunt rate announcement was a help for sure.
Big time debt.. I mean huge huge debt. 35 billion and counting. All airlines have debt and thats not a big deal..
AA is running a negative debt to equity ratio witch is basically a calculation of total liability's divided by share holder equity.
Alaska D/E ratio is around $75.00 so for every 1 dollar in share equity ALK has 75. bucks in liability.
AA D/E is someplace around $ -800.00 for $1 in share holder equity ..Yes, that is a minus you to highlife the poo they are in.

furthermore I fly tons more than I'd want to. I got so screwed by AA last year flying to Birmingham. Flying home I drove to Atlanta to avoid AA.
Part of the reason I like Alaska is the product and costumer service plus they are competitive when pricing tickets on the west coast.

I like Alaska and Delta as companies to invest with much more..either way be ready for a long hold Caddy/ 2 plus years.

I'm not the guy to ask about American Airlines..my dislike would keep me out alone.

LOL. good luck though

Just looked this one up..I'm not invested in Delta.
The Delta D/E ratio is around 120.00
This is just one way of looking at it..people like AA its a hold by several analysts.
