the autumn meet draws to a close and the card is pretty good for both today and tomorrow. let's make some late holiday money.
r1: game day hero. second time o'neill starter is coming off a dismal debut run against much better. now he drops to the appropriate level and should go very well in here.
r3: lethal litigator. gamblins going to be tough but i think i'll get 6/1 or so in this 6 horse field and 'litigator is bred to be a good one, albeit, better routing that sprinting. i'll take a small flyer that he can make a late run in here. in any event, look for this one as he stretches out later.
r5: il meglio. absolutely love to bet lobo horses, b/c they're usually well meant and i'm gambling that 'meglio can improve off his latest route race and make a big run from off the pace in here.
r6: don't know much but i do know that tizawinner is the most talented of this bunch and should fare better from closer to the pace with the big jockey switch to pval. i've never thought that highly of smith's skills, particularly out of the gate, so i think patrick will have this one pressing the pace into the winner's circle on the class drop.
r8: siphonette. this field is pretty empty as most of these look better suited either to routing or in a mdn 32k claimer, so i'll bet that siphonette runs them off their feet gate to wire with the blinks.
r9: this running of the dahlia handicap came off pretty tough and i keep coming back to hoh buzzard, who will have to overcome a terrible post to pull off a win here. personal legend looks like the one to beat, but 'buzzard ran a huge huge race at churchill last out and if she can hold her form for cecil, she could do the job.
