I think we can all agree how despicable that act was by Chauvin. What I don't get is why hasn't he been arrested yet? We all know or have seen people arrested faster and with far less evidence. I've gotta say, IMHO it's partially fueling the stupidity thats happening in Minneapolis. Chauvin's arrest can at least prove something is being done.

He will say how he barely applied any pressure and didnt realize that the guy passed out

And if there was any struggle in the beginning, before the video starts -- a mostly white jury will buy it.

(obviously its not gonna be 12 black jurors)

Why is this always a question?

Guys, this is a high-profile murder case. Do you realize how hard it is to convict a cop who's job inherently involves the use of force? It's not as clear as you think it is and a prosecutor has to do everything within their power to facilitate an air tight case.

What if the Minneapolis PD actually trained cops to use the maneuver that cop used and encouraged them to use it? I don't assume this is true but what if they did? That changes the charges right? Well, it takes time to investigate that and understand the situation. You simply can't rush things and overcharge a suspect or they walk free.

Why is everyone always in such a rush? Calm the fuck down and let some very smart people do their jobs thoroughly so the outcome is the best it can be for everyone. If you rush a murder charge, it's a good chance the guy walks.

The cop wont get murder...

You are right it will be hard to prove murder...It will also be hard to prove excessive force...ask Rodney King.

Whatever he gets it won't be enough to satisfy the public...

I see a 1992 LA riots situation coming...I don't agree with destruction it helps nothing.

But the public is getting tired of the bullshit from the powers that be...Something is coming.

If this guy gets off, the riots could be INSANE. Between the way the economy has been due to Corona PLUS the hatred for Trump by the potential rioters.

Just be glad that MN police successfully arrested a black/Latino reporter from CNN while he was broadcasting live and clearly speaking "We will move to wherever you tell us".....and at same time they ignored the other three white CNN crew standing right next to him

We do not need media focusing on the crimes of police v civilians.....that's just cheap clickbait and probably Fake News

We need more hours of coverage re Tyrone killing Pancho on the south side of Chicago

Most cops who kill white people are not arrested either. Nice virtue signaling though. I think while there at least is negligence to address medical concerns of a cuffed man who is no threat I assume they are looking for a specific law to charge the guy with. It is not as simple as people(basically 100% of people agree)don't like what he did. You have to remember even though there is unfairness in the way cops can be treated cops are given lots of leeway and authority to deal with people in a volatile situation. Given that it is much harder to prove murder or even a lessor charge when they are given the ability to deal with these situations In some ways it has to be that way. Who would ever be a cop if they essentially had to be perfect. I speak in general not of this case

And released a few minutes later...Jimenez was taken into the precinct awaiting booking before being released.....Good move by MPD to get the uppity smoke w the microphone out of sight ASAP
