A Harvard doctor is warning that the United States is on track to see another 100,000 deaths from the coronavirus by sometime in September.

Dr. Ashish Jha, director of the Harvard Global Health Institute, told CNN’s Chris Cuomo on Wednesday that at the moment, the country sees between 800 and 1,000 deaths every day from COVID-19 and the models he’s seen suggest that there will be increases in the coming months.

“But even if we assume that it’s going to be flat all summer, that nothing is going to get worse, we’re going to stay flat all summer — even if we pick that low number, 800 a day — that’s 25,000 a month,” Jha pointed out. “In three and a half months, we’re going to add another 87-, 88,000 people, and we will hit 200,000 sometime in September.”

Sounds about right. Is that supposed to scare anybody. I would assume that would about the betting over/under. Don't have to be a harvard professor to make a safe guess like that.

Mango...200,000 is less than 1.2 million even though 1.2 has fewer numbers. Looking foward to your predictions for the flu season.

If I didn't know better I'd swear he was related to Fauci.

Just another trough feeder. Here is his Bio.

Dr. Ashish Jha is an American health scholar. He is currently a Professor of Public Health Harvard T.H. Chan
School of Public Health and the Director of the Harvard Global Health Institute. His research mostly focuses
on improving the quality and cost of health care, centering on the impact of public health policy.

That's it. No other accomplishments are mentioned.

So he is another never did anything academic trying to tell us how to run our lives.

Lots of those cockroaches around. Never had a real job in his life, has never accomplished a thing outside of academia which in all honesty
means nothing to regular people. People in academia suck each others cocks for awards, grants, etc...

Yep. Pretty much sums it up. He's not worth the air he breathes.

Done with these agenda driven 'geniuses' and their 'models'. Kerkove, from the WHO, said she had hundreds of reports from thousands of people tested, all over the world, and concluded, based on actual tests of actual humans, that asymptomatic people rarely transmit this virus. Then a bunch of other agenda driven WHO types step in and say, "that's not true, our models indicate it may be higher." Sorry, but I don't believe a single word that follows the phrase "our models" anymore, every single 'model' by every single agency has been disastrously off.
