It all starts on Thursday with a great matchup between the mighty NY Yankees and the defending World Series Champion Washington Nationals in the early game and the stacked LA Dodgers hosting their rival San Francisco Giants in the late game. Check back Thursday for my first selections of this crazy 2020 season.

Really like both favorites tonight. Should have taken the Yanks when they were only -130 or so. With the line jumping up to -159 it is going to force me to parlay them with the Dodgers. Going to stick to my rule of nothing over -150 on straight bets.

I am going to be fading the Nationals this season unless they show me something early. They are not going to have the success they had last season. It also helps taking Cole & the Yankees.

I look for both offenses of the Yanks & Dodgers to be a big difference tonight, especially in the Dodgers game. I don’t completely trust Kershaw but cannot pass up the stacked Dodger lineup to score enough for the win.

I like this enough to go bigger than one unit, but I am going to try and keep things small until I can make sense of what might be a crazy season. Looks like rain for the Yanks/Nats as well and that can always screw things up.

My parlay was turned into a single bet with the pitching change in the Dodger game. My book to my surprised did credit the Yanks as a winner in the rain-shortened game. So the 2020 season starts off with Kershaw being scratched and the first game of the season being shortened by rain. Why am I not shocked? The craziness has begun.


Getting the early game posted and will be back with the rest later.


2* Under 8 (-115) Atlanta vs NY Mets……………...I like the Mets to win this game but I am not laying -152 vs the Braves. On the other side, the Braves as a dog is tempting, but I am not going to fall for it. DeGrom does not give up many runs, but his team just does not give him support. Soroka was awesome on the road last season and I don’t think he will give up many. This has a 3-2 type of game written all over it.
