Line does seem low for Khabib though, Gaethje matches up better than most but seems like he caught Ferguson at the right time. Aging, got hit a good amount his last few fights vs inferior comp and wasn't training for a standup fight at all.
Don't really give Gaejthe a much better shot to beat Khabib than Poirier and he was like +400, they are similar caliber fighters. Poirier might even be better.

I think Gaethje has a better shot than GSP
GSP isn't going to beat Khabib in grappling for 5 rounds. I don't see a finish. And Gaethje has much better striking than GSP. GSP isn't gonna play jab all day with Khabib.
As far as Poirier....Gaethje fought different in the Ferguson fight than he has most of his career. I believe he said he had a previous injury that got fixed and now he is able to fight different. Not saying he wins but he has a better shot than GSP or poirier did

I totally agree. Gaethje could very well KO Khabib and it wouldn't be a total shocker to me...He's gotta find success on the feet early, and avoid the dreaded take down, however, if he can't, the more than likely scenario is getting smothered, and Gaethje will eventually run outta gas and get finished. Sounds like a beautiful ending to a story as well because I don't think Khabib is the one to let his father's passing side track him in a fight, and a finish is what he's after...
This fight works for me, hell, outta all the others mentioned, I rather see Khabib fight someone like Dariush after this, but hell there really ain't nuttin' left unless it's a super fight really...
