2020 LV HILTON STYLE CFB CONTEST
Welcome back to the best Post-Up Football Contest on any Forum of the internet. This will be the 8th Annual CFB Contest. JOH will provide the setup with google forms & spreadsheets, post the lines, grade the entries and put up the standings on a weekly basis. We try our best to mimic the Las Vegas Tournament, with similar rules and deadlines.
This contest is not sanctioned by the RX or SBR Forums, meaning they assume no liability for anything detrimental to the running of it and they will not be compensating anyone for services rendered running this contest. Contestants are playing at their own risk, but we can assure you that everything will be done to provide for a smooth ride.The Admin fee will go to 10% and will be used to pay the 3 individuals running these contests.
Once again, Willie99 & Livin the Family Life! (LTFL) will help take in the entry fees. Each will take in approx 50% of the funds so their accounts don't become unreasonably large. Details on where you will send your money will be posted in a few different places.
RULES :
1. The season long non-refundable CFB Contest entry fee is $110.00. Money Order entries accepted until Sat, Sept 5, 2020. Pay*Pal entries accepted until Sat, Sept 12, 2020 (ALL payments must be received by Sat, Sept 12, 2020 @ 9:45am ET). Entries must be submitted before making selections for Week 1.
2. Each contestant will use his RX User Name ONLY. (No Team Names) * Max Two Entries per Contest Per Poster.
3. Actual cash prizes will be based on total number of contestants.
(Breakdown will be posted on or around Tues, Sept 15, 2020).
4. This Contest is based on picking winning teams against the spread. Contestants must select six (6) teams per week. (Sides Only)
(a) Contestants may not select both sides of the same game. Any violation results in a double loss.
(b) Any selections that are duplicated will be graded first by the actual outcome and any duplications will be automatic losses.
5. Please note all Contest Lines listed in the drop-down menu are playable, even if the game goes OTB (Off the Board) at a later date.
6. Contest winners will be determined by the total number of points accumulated during the CFB regular season. Each winning selection will be credited with 1 point. Ties (pushes) count as ˝ point.
7. Contestants must submit their weekly selections by 10AM Eastern time each Saturday morning. Any contestant who fails to submit weekly selections by 10:00:59 AM Eastern time on Saturday will receive 0 points for that week. This time deadline will be strictly enforced.
8. Weekly lines will be posted each Tuesday night by 11pm ET (BetOnline.ag Lines will be used).
9. Only RX Members can enter to play (You MUST have an RX User Name and have at least 25 Posts to Enter, and 50 by Contest end). * If you do NOT have at least 25 posts, DO NOT ENTER, as your payment will be returned.
9a. If you don't have 50+ posts, by the Final Week and you cash, 10% will be deducted from your winnings.
Reason being, these contests were put together for the posters of the RX. It's not fair for the RX posters that come here weekly.
10. Tie-breaking rules:
Tie-breaking rules will be applied to determine first place only. Entries tying for second through 10th place, will equally split aggregate prize money from the respective place. If ties exist after the CFB regular season for first place, the champion will be determined based on the entry that accumulated the most contest points during the final three weeks of the regular season. If total points accumulated during the final three weeks is equal, most points accumulated during the fourth to the final week will determine the winner, and so on weekly (in reverse order), until the tie is broken. In the unlikely occurrence of a tie after the tie-breakers, co-champions will be declared and the aggregate prize money will be split equally.
Distribution of winnings will start ASAP after contest ends, as everything is double checked to assure there are no mistakes.
* A Google Form will be provided to make your Weekly Picks. They will appear on the accompanying Spreadsheet, with picks released after the 10am ET Saturday deadline.

If you are entering this contest as well as the other LVH Style Contests being offered, you may pay in a lump sum
(NFL - $220, CFB - $110, NFL Totals - $110).
Record to beat is 81 entries with a prize pool of over $8100 back in 2018.
