As anyone gone?

Is it easy to watch the races live? Outdoor venues? Reservations?

How about betting? I'm guessing it's all over the phone, am I missing anything? Any remote sites set up?

Love the town, thinking about going there for two nights, want to make sure there's stuff to do

I'm guessing not much going on

Think I'm going to call the hotel we stay at, the Pavilion is usually up on things

Was wondering those same things, Willie.

The Pavilion said they have a rooftop setting with large TV's with food and drink services from their restaurant. I'm guessing other hotels and restaurants offer the same thing

I asked if there were any outdoor settings for viewing, said he wasn't aware of any

Betting would be done with your smart phone

With the track closed to the public, it’s been a different year in Saratoga. I would suggest waiting until next year.

Have you been up there, Killa?

We're wondering how the various motels and restraunts are handling things. How the vibe is. Are people there gathering in front of TVs watching and betting on (phone) the races?

Which places are set up better?

Can you sit indoors?

Those kind of questions.

I’m not really sure about the hotel situation. Saratoga doesn’t seem to be hurting as bad as most thought it may. Restaurants have expanded and added outdoor seating. A few, not many have put up outdoor TVs. There is indoor seating at restaurants, it’s just very limited and must wear a mask when not seated at your table. The teletheater and OTB’s are open, just with reduced capacity.

Oh and our wonderful governor has made it required to buy food, in order to be served alcohol.
Ps: Apparently chicken wings aren’t considered food... ?
