The Grizzlies have been a disaster in Orlando, winning only one of their seven games. They need to pull out a victory to keep their playoff hopes alive and might have caught a break, as crazy as that sounds, by playing Milwaukee. The Bucks have wrapped up the top seed in the East and will be without Giannis Antetokounmpo, who will be serving a one-game suspension. It also wouldn’t be a surprise to see Eric Bledsoe, Khris Middleton and/or Brook Lopez sit out, or at least play limited minutes. With the Grizzlies playing all of their regulars, I like them to cover this small line.

This game is not going to be pretty. Already ruled out for the Magic are Evan Fournier, Terrence Ross, Aaron Gordon and Michael Carter-Williams. While Nikola Vucevic hasn’t been ruled out, he logged only 21 minutes against the Nets on Tuesday and once again could see limited action. Meanwhile, the Pelicans will be without Zion Williamson, Brandon Ingram and Jrue Holiday. It also wouldn’t be a surprise to see JJ Redick and Derrick Favors stay anchored to the bench. Keeping all of that in mind, Lonzo Ball still should play, and they do have some productive big men in Nicolo Melli, Jaxson Hayes and Jahlil Okafor. I wouldn’t be surprised to see the Pelicans win this outright, so I’ll take the points.

My projections see a maximum of 220 points hitting the scoreboard Thursday between the Celtics and Wizards, providing a major value position on the Under. I've got the Under hitting in more than 75 percent of simulations with room to spare. Boston's third-ranked scoring defense (107.5) should be enough to slow down the Wizards' patchwork lineup. Also, the Celtics will lack motivation to pour it on after locking up the No. 3 seed in the playoffs.

My numbers see the Brewers beating the Cubs about half the time in their Thursday meeting to give us a massive overlay on the underdog. Milwaukee starter Brett Anderson has struggled thus far but has been solid against the Cubs. Last season, he won his lone start against them while allowing two runs over six innings. Meanwhile, the lone loss of the season for Cubs starter Yu Darvish came against this Brewers team.

Give me the under here in game 2 since 6 of the last 9 games between these 2 teams have gone under the total and each of these teams have only gone over the number in one game since the restart. Game 1 was a push but there were only 3 powerplays in the game and only 52 total shots indicating a very defensive minded game. The wind is blowing in tonight and the Cubs are not good at hitting left handed pitching. I expect this to be a low scoring game so the extra run tonight holds pretty good value in my book. Darvish is pitching well for the Cubs and Anderson will eventually get back into the swing of things now that his blisters are healed on his throwing hand. Look for a boring game, but it should be close. Take the Brewers.​
