It really doesn't seem to have a political slant and certainly has valid references. Admittedly, I do like the chart, and in particular the column on breathing. I just hear too many people claiming masks don't impact their breathing at all, which I think is complete nonsense (the chart says "moderate" to "high" impact with masks, and of course with shields it's none). It also claims a higher level of blockage of large droplets by the wearer of the face shield.

Key points talked about....

Children in particular have been found less protected by face masks with a smaller face making it difficult for a tight fit

Face shields may be the best option for use in classrooms without obstructing the mouth while still protecting the entire face. Facial visibility for teachers allows for context and emotion-perception in important interactions between students, educators, school staff and administration.

Although face shields have been recommended in combination with face masks by the CDC, several studies have concluded face shields are an effective method in PPE

For Teachers - Facial visibility for teachers allows for context and emotion-perception in important interactions between students, educators, school staff and administration.

For Students - PPE Recommendation: Face shield with frequent hand washing and distancing as much possible.
