Not sure what’s going on? COVID-19, sir. He’s leaving to be with his family. I’m a Bostonian and people here are NOT happy. Decision should’ve been made sooner, but that’s why he’s leaving.

I heard there was a family emergency, but now things are ok. He decided to leave and opt out anyway. Honestly, he never wanted to be there. If you go back and read different comments he has made over the last two weeks, it never seemed like he was in game shape or motivated to play. And there is a weird family dynamic with him. Last year he took a leave of absence from the team because of problems at home. I honestly think they will be ok with Halak and the bigger issue is getting Pastrnak back. But a tough break for the team as a whole.

Dale Arnold’s report that there was a family emergency has been debunked. Nobody in his family had an emergency, just wanted to go home. This guy isn’t worth having on the team, bottom line. Never there when it counts, whether it be a stomach bug, family issues, not caring, etc. He won’t play another game in a Bruins uniform and I wouldn’t be surprised if he’s done with the NHL altogether.

All that said, Bruins win today. Team is going to rally around Jaro - this type of news will galvanize the team.
