Obviously way way too early to take these lines seriously but if you had to bet a game right now in week 1using the current spreads what would it be ??

I would normally agree that this would be a good play guys, with Philly out for revenge and playing against SB winner will no doubt raise their game......But, too many questions with Philly now, losing Hugh Douglas, who led the team in sacks, and Shawn Barber, who led the team in tackles, not to mention how they will respond to the new stadium.

Actually it's 11-5 ATS over the past 16 years as the '89 49'ers, '91 Giants, '94 Cowboys, '01 Ravens and '02 Patriots all covered their Week One games. In fact, you have been on the opposite side of the defending Super Bowl champs the past two years in a row. They say bad things come in threes. Watch out!

John Gruden's record for 1st game of the season following a Superbowl victory:
0-0

Not saying the Eagles can't pull it off, but Tampa is tough. I like the Ravens and Oakland.
