I got diagnosed on Sunday.
Have not lost taste or smell yet .
Do not have breathing problems yet .

But for 2 days in a row now I go from feeling decent when I wake up in the morning to feeling like shit starting about 3pm .
102 fever right now .
Drank a whole 24 pack of water in the last 24 hrs and just can’t seem to drink enough .

im sitting on a leather sofa and when I get up the sofa is hot like MF .

Im very very tired .

Hard for me to watch a movie or a baseball game without falling asleep .

If this is the worst it gets I’ll be alright with it .

Just hope this is the worst of it .

Today is worse then yesterday and yesterday was worse then the day before .

When I get tested I had almost no symptoms at all.

So I was really surprised with the result.
At first I thought it was a false positive but those thoughts quickly went away less then 24 hrs later

Sounds pretty weak to me. I got the flu 3 years on a cruise out of your hometown NOLA port. Had it for almost 3 weeks and thought I was dying for most of those days.

My dad and mother in law both got the wuflu...and both got over in less than a week with no after effects. Both in mid 60s

If you start to have breathing problems or if that temperature climbs from there get to the hospital, Chop. I've talked to a five people who have had it.

Right now I would see if your doctor will prescribe some hydroxychloroquine and zinc. Forget the political bs. There is ample evidence that it works if taken early in the virus progression.

If it helps soothe your mind, those people were two in their early eighties, their 55 year old son, and another couple 72 years old. All had preexisting conditions, actually multiple conditions, all were hospitalized, and all five are walking around now like nothing ever happened. The 55 year old made sure his parents were taken care of before he had himself looked after. His fever spiked to 106 before he got help. He told me that he didn't think he was going to make it as he didn't have the strength to lift his hand. He made it. And is now back to complete normalcy.

The medical community has come a long way in terms of treatment since the early days when they didn't know anything, were blowing people's lungs out with ventolators that they didn't know how to operate, and had no hydroyy or remdisiver.

You'll be fine, Chop. Good luck. Keep us abreast.

Had it March 7th.

Days 1-2 felt like sinus stuff
Day 3 Weak, No energy
Day 4-6 Temps 102, didn’t eat, tired, brutal cough, tightness is chest, constantly sweating
Day 7-10 No temp, no appetite, coughing, fatigue and zero energy, back pain
Day 10+ lingering cough couple weeks, winded very easy, still had back pain

Took a month before I felt my lungs were better. Develop blood clots in left calf (they say was from it idk). Had 2 serology test for IgG antibodies in June. 1 positive 1 negative.

From what hat I have been told by doctors, the virus was much stronger December-March. I was labeled a long hauler (longer side effects). The virus is not as easy to catch as media says. Test are inaccurate (per Drs) and certain medication can trigger positive. And a bunch of other stuff but if I post it then it will start CV war. Bottom line, it’s not as serious as portrayed and most people are fine after having it. I saw 2 Dr’s, respiratory Therapist and a Primary. This is what I was told, not my words or opinion.

Sounds like you don’t have it too bad and should be good to go in a few days. Just chill and don’t rush anything. And don’t take any fever meds if you are not breaking 102. That way you will really know when your fever goes down. You should be much better in another day or two. Just my personal opinion from what you listed. I wouldn’t stress too much and just see how you feel in 2 days.

How/where do you reckon you caught it Chop? Any clue?

Good question.

Hope the best for you.

Someone I know who is in decent shape had it and said they felt better after 6-8 days of feeling shitty.. Cited a lot of the same symptoms. Fatigue and body aches with a fever seemed to be the main symptoms

Stay hydrated chop guess you are doing that which is good. I know 5 people who were healthy that passed because of this killer virus. It's all about luck I believe. Check your blood/oxygen level daily. IF it goes below 90 start to get more concerned.
