Has anyone at theprescription.com thought about starting an online NFL Pro Picker contest?

I am in several pools around town but was interested in doing one with as many prescription members as possible. I know that there are plenty of contests affiliated with some of the off shore sportsbooks but I think there are a lot of people on these boards who don't feel comfortable sending a couple hundred dollars to an off shore book but wouldn't mind sending someone at the prescription.com 5-10 dollars.

Has anyone thought about doing this?

K,

I'll be part of this sillyness.
Let me know when and how you will set it up.

I don't work for the Prescription so it would be hard for people to trust to send me $5 - $10 that's why I am thinking that someone who works for the prescription would do it. Besides I don't have the web site resources that theprescription.com does.

I just thought it would be fun.

This might run contrary to the anti gambling laws. I don't think the Prescription would want to get involved.

You might be correct, but look at all of the online fantasy football/baseball leagues you can join that cost money.

Don't know the legal ramifications but it sure would be a good/cheap way to compete against other prescription members.

the contest is a great idea, i loved it last year, but as i recall there were in the neighborhood of 90 some people in it to begin with but as people found themselves losing they began dropping out.
if i remember correctly there was only a dozen people left standing at the end.
"of which i was one".
if there is another contest, definately, I'M IN.

I'm sure the shrink would know if it was & whether or not he would want his site to be involved. I'm in if it can be done.

BTW there are sites like http://www.3sggames.com/

that allow anyone to set up a pro picker group. All someone would have to do is set one up for the RX and since it would be private for all us RXers all would be needed was for the Commish over the group to post the password for all the players on the RX who wanted to play! How bout it Shrink , General?

Reminder

Everyone,

A couple people have mentioned starting a group at http://3sggames.com/. So I set one up.

It's a NFL Pick Em contest for bragging rights only.

Just click on "Call a Play" then "Play the Games" then "Join a Group". Scroll down to the Private group section. The Group name is "RX Forum Pro Pickers" and the password is "rxforum".

If anyone is interested please check it out.

If you have any questions let me know.

KMAN
