When the 4th place team in the NFC West would crush them 9 out of 10.
4 team divisions is too small.
The odds are too high that all 4 teams can suck and we are witnessing that now

Dallas 4 fumbles in 10 mins. Lol
Prescott gonna be crying about all that money he left on the table .
He refused to let the cowboys over pay him .
This division is so bad the team with no name probably gonna win it
Only 1 team per conference will get a first round bye
Can't we wait until -- oh, I don't know, maybe SIX OR SEVEN games into the season --
before we start making silly assumptions?
This is why Monday NFL articles are referred to as "overreactions."![]()

It's not really an overreaction when it's carrying over from last year, is it? The NFC East was clearly the worst division in the NFL last year.
The NFC Least is like the AFC Least without the patriots
negative 49 point differential 2 weeks into the season is something special.
What a cool idea you got .
He let’s not bet on the games till after the games are over instead of making silly predictions with our money half the time .
This is a sports betting forum .
Sports betting is about speculation and making predictions.
If that sort of thing is not your thing go find a history forum or something like that .
I will go ahead and not wait till week 7 to start this thread .
Name one team in the NFC West that if they played in the NFC least would not be at least -150 to win the Least .
For many years the NFC East was the beast
Two if not three very good/great teams in 80s and 90s
Comes and goes
I mean the NFC East isn't good because a mediocre 9-7 Giants team that likely never makes the playoffs in another division gets hot in the playoffs and wins the super bowl. That's the point... they never make the playoffs at all if they were in a better division. Or face a harder road in the playoffs and then don't make it as far.
This thread is about the 2020 NFC Least . I am very aware that once upon a time they were actually good .
How is the Saints division doing?
Dallas or Philly will be like 8-8 and win the division. Not incredibly uncommon for a .500 type team to finish 8-8 or 9-7 and win a bad division. Everyone remembers Seattle being 7-9 that one year and hosting the Saints in the 1st round. And actually winning. I think a few years ago Carolina won their division going 7-9 as well.
I'm in agreement the seeding needs to change though. An 8-8 team should not get HFA over an 11-5 Wildcard team just because they won their crappy division.
