I own a business in Louisville

Im paying $80/hour to have police security at my business all night

Tomorrow is expected to be an absolute war zone in the city

My business has been broken into twice and $90k worth of damage when part of it was set on fire by the peaceful protestors

My insurance covered but now basically on my own if anything else happens thus the police security.

So $12,000,000 isn't justice?

They can't bring her back to life.

Charging people with murder who didn't commit murder will make them feel better? That's revenge then, not justice.

The reason cops are often not convicted is they are given powers of authority by the state. When it isn't a completely ridiculously negligent situation by them you can't exactly convict them. The state is responsible. The state gives them the authority and training and are responsible for those mistakes. Just like doctors usually are not arrested for mistakes unless they go into surgery high or drunk or something similar. That is why lawsuits are often the best way to go. That is the way to go with some of these questionable killings. This even includes the bad optics of George Floyd. Cases of police brutality which are not killings are a bit different because they are often not life or death situations and more obvious in what was possibly needed in those situations and can be handled with firings or lesser charges

THis is the travesty of Democratically run cities in America right now.

They are not protecting the good people or their property.

This response or lack of it would be unthinkable in any past civilized society. Hell, any past society. Something is severely wrong.

This Breonna Taylor incident is really difficult. It's not as simple as saying an innocent woman was shot by the police and demanding justice.

The cops claim they had probable cause to execute a drug warrant on her apartment. Whether you think the evidence is flimsy or not will be up for a jury to decide but at the very least, detectives that applied for the warrant had to know her old boyfriend didn't live there. Now, if their premise is they were executing a warrant for her, then that's another story.

The cops that executed the warrant should be cleared of all wrongdoing. They executed a warrant as instructed and were shot at. They returned fire and she died.

The accountability lies with whether you believe the evidence used to obtain a no-knock warrant was legit or not.

Be safe out there

Not sure which is more crazy.

12 mil for Breana or paying 80/hr for a Louisville cop to do detail work?

Chime in if y’all disagree but there will always be a bad cop, a horrible accident or mistake and a group of folks who take advantage of that situation to riot, loot, etc, etc

Yes, we need to learn, but is that latter group ever going to NOT riot, loot, burn...:think2:

Proper training for cops may reduce incidents but it will NEVER be 100% effective...

So what do you guys with Common Sense do out in the cities watching liberalism destroy your community...???

In reality, all you can do is vote and maybe write your leaders, but they aren’t there for your cause...:think2:

So happy to be living away from all that

if her boyfriend didn't open fire, she'd be alive today. nothing good ever happens when you fire at cops. but the boyfriend was being watched for awhile, detectives knew he was using her place as a drug delivery address and they have him on video picking up packages from her place and driving them to a drug house.

this is a different boyfriend. Her ex boyfriend had packages sent to her address and a vehicle registered to her place was parked outside the ex boyfriends suspected drug house.

No, the guy who shot at cops was a new boyfriend and he had no idea it was cops. He wasn’t into the drug game.

Not sure where you heard all that.

You're confused.

The boyfriend that fired on the cops was not the one they had been watching.

The main thing the cops fucked up is they had the place surveillance and somehow missed that this dude was there. So they were totally caught by surprise.
