Written By>>> DVAXN Group 25 NFL Football Outsiders Powering Rating ~[Cleveland OH] With Bobby Lancer Exclusive ratings & There Calculated Point Spreads With Trends & Statistics and Indicators

The Dolphins are 26th in the league average 93 yards per game on the ground on 3.8 yards per attempt. Defensively the Dolphins are currently third to last in the league, allowing 440.5 yards per game and 19th, allowing 26 points per contest. Dolphins do need to find some answers on the defense side of the ball as they rank 30th in total defense (440.5 yards per game) and 29th against the run (164 yards per game). The latter deficiency certainly will be tested by the Jaguars, who are ecstatic about the play of undrafted free agent running back James Robinson.Robinson rushed for 4,444 yards and 44 touchdowns for FCS program Illinois State but wasn't deemed worthy of being drafted by any of the NFL's 32 teams. But his strong training camp performance helped prompt Jacksonville to part ways with Leonard Fournette, and Robinson's 164 rushing yards are the most ever through the first two career games by a Jaguars back.He rushed for 102 yards and a touchdown on 16 carries Sunday in a 33-30 loss to the Tennessee Titans.
Jags will get their ground game going and then Gardner Minshew and his underrated WR corps will go off on a very weak pass defense that is last in completion percentage against, passer rating against, and yards per attempt against. Will will score some against a below-average Jacksonville defense but it will not be enough to win the game or even cover it especially if Devante Parker is out for this one. Each of Minshew's three touchdown passes on Sunday concluded drives of 75-plus yards. His final TD toss was a 14-yarder to Chris Thompson who has been a bigger threat in the passing game than running the ball over his career.

Jags rushing duties have been assumed by James Robinson, whose NFL career has gotten off to a fine start. The undrafted rookie from Illinois State is coming off a performance against the Titans in which he had 16 carries for 102 yards and a TD. Robinson's 164 rushing yards are the most by a player in his first two career games in franchise history. These teams are a long way from being Super Bowl contenders. With that said, it feels like the Jags are about a year ahead of the Dolphins in their long-term rebuilding project. Expect a monster game from Minshew and a high-scoring offensive explosion on both sides. As long as he holds onto the ball, Jags should win that one with ease. with all this said I see the Jags cover the spread and win by least touchdown or more.
My bet -2 1/2 Jags buying the hook

I'm not planning on betting this game.
Miami could very well win this game
But I don't know how you count on a bad Dolphins team to win outright
IMO if this game is played 100 times doesn't Jax win outright more often than 50 times?
Seems the odds slightly favor Jax
But I can't risk money here

Reading comprehension my friend
I said this game slightly favors Jax and I don't see how you can bet Miami
But Miami could win
I was just pointing out while Jax more likely wins I don't see some great advantage playing this team. But more so anyone taking the Dolphins doesn't make sense
Hence why I am niot betting it

Great writeup Harry! Definitely siding with the Jags, but this line makes me nervous as hell.....opened up a "pck" right away Jags $$$ pushed it up up to -3 now. Jags are playing way over their heads compared to Miami first 2 games. No clue why this this line opened up a "pck" and not -3 at least a FG. They knew money would push that number up quick which it did....don't know just concerning for me....and the public is all over Jags over 70%

My 5 Star ***** Prop Bet ~ James Robinson over 67.5 rushing yards (-110)

James Robinson over 67.5 rushing yards (-110)
Not many people were familiar with the undrafted rookie Robinson before the season, but they sure are now. The Jaguars appear intent on making him a featured back after cutting Leonard Fournette, and he’s gotten 16 carries in each of their first two games. He put up 102 yards on Tennessee this past week, and this is an even better matchup for him. The Dolphins have one of the worst defensive fronts in the league, and I don’t think they’re stopping anybody on the ground right now. Miami let the Patriots rush for 217 yards on them, and they didn’t do much to slow down Buffalo either. Robinson should see heavy volume here, and if he gets 16 carries again against this porous Miami defensive line, he’s going well over this total.

Dolphins TE Mike Gesicki OVER 45.5 receiving yards (-110)

Gesicki is coming off a big game with eight receptions for 130 yards and a TD on 11 targets in a 31-28 loss to the Buffalo Bills. His catch and yardage totals were both career highs, and he has now had at least 47 receiving yards in four of his last seven games dating back to last season, averaging 58.3 yards per contest over that span.
The Jaguars, meanwhile, have been gashed by tight ends so far. Tennessee Titans and Indianapolis Colts tight ends have combined to catch 13 of 15 targets for 198 yards and a pair of TDs.
Bank on Gesicki continuing the trends Thursday night.
