System Play 11-5 Last Week 39-18 Last Season

This is a system I worked on last season. I didn’t start it until week#7 due to some tweaking.

The system last season from weeks #7-17 was 39-18.

It combines total offense, total defense, accumulative grades from each week, power rankings each week, average cover pts and home field advantage

Anyway, I’ll post the plays each week and let the results speak for themselves.

Here are my week#3 plays:

The system was 11-5 in week#2. There was no data for week#1. Sorry, I put the wk#2 record in the title but forgot to put it in the actual post.

Last year there were 57 plays in 11 weeks.
This year you are playing every game, every week.

I posted earlier that this system was 39-18 from weeks #7-17 last season. I don’t know how I arrived at that record, an error somewhere. The ACTUAL record was 85-52. (Thanks Bruins4Life) I want to be as transparent as possible.

I have not tracked the trends of this system, but based on last year's picks, the system does seem to favor home dogs. I'll have to start tracking that information.

Not a good week#3 for the system going 7-9, bringing the season total to 18-14. I'm still not sure if I've got enough data for this system to be effective in the early going but I'll continue to post the plays and see where it takes us.

Week#4 TNF

NYJ-1

The system liked the Jets more with the opening line of +2.5, obviously, but it's a toss-up game based on the numbers.

Due to the uncertainty of the game, I did not post it. But, the system originally liked ne+6.5. It had KC favored by 4.5. But, with Newton out, the system likes KC by 10.

Well, that was a BAD week. 3-12, bringing the season total to 21-26.
