I have my opinions and I am sure most of you do too, I have seen a few posts on here recently referencing Offshore vs Local advantages

Advantages of Offshore vs Local

Offshore...
Send your money to a foreign country
High fees for credit card deposit or use bitcoin
Rollovers ranging from 6X-10X that make it very difficult to ever get paid
Possibility book goes (5dimes and others) under or is impossible to get funds from (Bovada)
Customer service agents that dont care or you can not understand

Local.....
Same lines and options as Offshore
No deposit
Limits raised over time as trust is built on both sides
Ability to get paid weekly
Keep the funds in the USA
Squaring up weekly never lets balance get too high or too low

I have locals but the bet options and odds are not as good as offshore, especially on teasers.

My local has lines comparable to Pinnacle. If he doesn't have a certain type of teaser, I simply ask him to upload it.

most locals have a price per head site which aside from the crazy parlays and small time bets you can do with an offshore it works the same. i dont do 5 dollar 10 team parlays or anything so it doesnt bother me.
straight up action the lines seem the same to me

Offshore- you can only lose what you put into the pot

Local- if you owe money, you BETTER have the money or come up with a mutually agreed plan

I have played with both. Pros and cons to both.

However if you are new to sports gambling, go offshore so you dont get carried way
