Balance forward at Belmont (+5.60)

Looking for a few diamonds in the rough.

Race 2 - #10 ECCOCI QUA (8-1) Didn't run a lick sprinting on the dirt in Saratoga, but has a decent enough turf pedigree and has every right to improve off that debut at what should be juicy odds.

Race 3 - #4 SUSPENDED CAMPAIGN (5-1) Really doubt I'll get 5-1 on her, but she'll get my money regardless. The debut was better than it looks on paper.

Race 4 - #5 NIKO'S DREAM (6-1) I really love this filly - she never quits fighting. Should be 3-1 in this field so anything more is a bargain.

Race 5 - #2 ARROWHEART (10-1) Any improvement off that grass debut puts him right in the thick of it. Hernandez aboard guarantees fair odds - should stay double digits.

Race 6 - #2 VALLETA (9-2) In his last 70 tries Gargan is 31% first off the claim. He's won 4 of his last 8 with turf routers in this situation as well.

Race 7 - #6 TRIBECCA (6-1) Seriously, how can you leave him out? This guy just loves to win.

Race 9 - #4 SHARE THE RIDE (6-1) This really isn't a very tough field for a Grade 2. I see no reason why this guy can't repeat what he did at Monmouth.

Good luck today!

Gonna throw a couple of my Belmont picks into your thread before I head to the track. Hope you don't mind, Niko.

Race 1 - #3 Thebigfundamental (9/5) Lotsa back class. They gave him a prep at a shorter distance up at Saratoga after a long layoff. Should get to the lead with Johnny V and take the field wire to wire.

Race 2 - #6 The Golden Door (5-1) A little improvement from this horse in his second lifetime start should get him home with Joseph Ortiz up.

Race 3 - #5 Leia Marie (3-1) Solid Beyers for this class despite trouble at the break in his second start last time out. A repeat of that race should have him in the winners circle.

Race 5 - #3 Masked Marauder (9/2) Best Beyers in the race by 7 points in his only start, now goes from dirt to turf where that Beyers should improve.

Race 6 - #4 Wicked Happy (8-1) Hate the jockey but bad jockeys win on good horses. This horse seems to have found a home on the weeds. Two races she ran second to a 1:40 and 2/5 mile and a sixteenth. The race before (her first on the turf) ran 3 lengths behind a 134 and 1/5 mile. Cutting back in class and distance from her last at 1 3/8 miles and I think they found their spot for a win right here, right now.

That's it for me. Good luck to Niko, and good luck to everybody else.

Thanks, Skoda, I looked at the #10 as she looked to be improving with every race, but ran into trouble in that last one. IF she gets around Ortiz she should be there at the end. Will definitely have a 2-10 box working. GL
