I personally believe so....beat Conor on Conor's off night. Who else has he fought. Doesn't matter if he won every second of every fight, he just has not fought the best over and over. Murders row, not even close. I came across this opinion from a fellow"

"Well, he’s been labeled the GOAT since before he won the title, and there’s many grappling fanboys who idolize him because he brought back wrestling, in the form of Sambo, as a dominant style, in a division packed with good strikers, in an era where striking is shining again.
Overall, he’s very good, and he’s overrated in ABSOLUTE terms, not in RELATIVE terms. I’ll explain better:

  • He is probably a natural welterweight who fights at lightweight
  • Has had a careful selection of opponents
  • Has never fought a top level wrestler in the last…what, 10 fights?
  • Is A LITTLE favored by rules in the fact that he uses the cage for some takedown and clinching, and that control over the grounded opponent is scored very highly, wether you actively strike him or attempt submissions
  • Of the VERY BEST opponents in the division has beaten, so far, Conor (not in the best shape, but can only blame himself) and Poirier. Wich is impressive, anyway, don’t get me wrong. The TRUE challenges, however, begin now. Ferguson, Gaethje are yet to be fought, while Cerrone will stay away from title shots for a while, since he just lost. I mean, it’s not like he beat scraps, but has just begun fighting the best. So, if GSP is the GOAT since he cleaned his division, Khabib cannot be until he’s done at least the same.
So yes, he’s a terrific athlete, and still overrated. If he will really beat anybody in the division, or compete decently at another weight division, it will mean he was the real deal, but only time will tell"

Is there a betting opinion here or just sports radio/ESPN sensational talk that no one can do anything with?

I was gonna dissect this whole thing and watch it crumble like Khabib's opponent have all done, but all ones gotta do is read the CAPITAL bolded text and know you were 100% in with anything else said...

You should bet on a natural welterweight who fights at lightweight because it's such a huge advantage. No wonder a vast majority of the division, and every division for the matter, are doing it...

Overrated how? His wrestling game is on another level. You have really good/great wrestlers and then there is Khabib.

BTW he didnt beat Connor on an off night, he worked Connor like a dog. Connor did not know how to handle Khabib's elite grappling game.

Check out his camp video against Chase Saldate a National ranked #1.......Khabib worked him.....yes Chase is a kid but one of the best is the world at his weightclass and was giving up some weight but Khabib is simply on another level.

Justin +265

He is stronger and much more powerful than Khabib. If Justin is able to fire off shots, which he will, Khabib will fold like a cheap suit

Don't hate the play as there is value in +money and Gaethje is at the top of his game right now. Khabib has just been so dominant lately hes the guy to beat.

I would never lay the juice on Khabib as 300 + is to rich for me

I suppose if anyone deserves it...well...it is an undefeated fighter
Way too much for me though'
I lean Gaethje based on ability, style and value
Not sure about betting it though. Gaethje or nothing

Within 2 minutes Justin was gassed, shocked to say the least. Not even 3 minutes in he was gasping for air

An instant rematch is in order? Can't be Ferguson he just got beat. So did Khabib but his resume gets him a rematch?
If Conor wasn't fighting Poirier then he would sneak in there against Gaethje. I think it is somehow going to hapen.Guarantee Conor will somehow sneak in for a shot.

I'm hoping he some how does to get his brain rattled

It is a new day and division Feel bad for him but it is fresh

I meant for Khabib
Both just lost to Gaethje
Conor seems to be the obvious choice
Conor that lucky little leprechaun
Avoided more offensive grappling
Much better matchup for him
But he will lose
Seems the only option

Justin was shocked alright, that everything he had heard and seen was really real, Khabib is relentless and when he says he’s gonna maul you and wear you down, he simply does. Sometimes he toys with you for rounds, and sometimes he shows you just how ridiculously great he really is. To think Khabib is overrated, it’s just simply a display of ignorance.

BTW, citing and article that even mentions Cerrone and any chance of a Title in the same sentence is ludicrous. He’s simply irrelevant, now, and has been for awhile...
