Coming into this weeks games my record is 19-12-2 ATS and here is what I like in the games on Sunday with no big writeups:
Chicago (+1) Bears have had 10 days off to get ready for this game just have to think they seen the Falcons run all over the Panthers last week as they are banged up on defense.Like the job Matt Rhule is doing one hell of a coach with the messes has has had to work with.
Tennessee (-3.5) I know the Titans just played Tuesday night so a short week for them but they get a bunch of bodies back for this game and the Texans were not that impressive against the Jags IMO so they got there first win.I think the Titans win here at home put enough heat on Watson as the Texans run game isnt anything special thats for sure.
Detroit (-3) This smells like a sucker bet but I will bite here.If the Lions are going to do anything this year they need to win here coming off a bye should be able to make Gardner Minshew into making some mistakes.The Lions need to run the ball as Stafford loves putting up stats but makes mistakes frustrates me betting on them but for the Lions this is a due or die game take your pick.
Green Bay (-1) Here we go again Packers off a bye and TB has had 10 days to get ready also to me I have to think the Packers need to harass Brady and get him rattled not easy to do and Rodgers has alot of weapons for this game as Addams is back at W.I think this is a high scoring game and I will go with Rodgers on the road here.
Pittsburgh (-3.5) As many of you know I used to rag on the Browns ALOT and gave them alot of crap but finally the Browns have gotten their act together and finally got a coach that knows what he is doing and no distractions no nonsense just a team that is jelling right now.This town is pumped up for this game and havent seen this for a long time but Im bursting the bubble here and taking the Steelers here in this game. Here is why I like them on Sunday:
1) I think Mayfield is not 100 % as he has bruised ribs we will see how it goes
2) The Browns O line did ok after losing Teller but he is the best one now we will see how the Steelers can exploit them
3) OBJ has had illness for the last couple of days but no practice and Landry is banged up not 100 % so we will see what happens
4) The Browns secondary sucks plain and simple and LB's are no great shakes either just see Big Ben picking them apart on Sunday
5) Browns havent won since 2003 in Heinz Field (16 Years) we will see what happens
I hate to do this as I like the Browns progress this year but I think this gets ugly on Sunday as I see 35-24 Pittsburgh on Sunday as this will be my best bet on Sunday
BOL to everybody on Sunday as I am going to be around early Sunday then going to watch the game at my sisters house as my nephew is a big Browns game and wants me to watch the game with him.
