How's this for a beat?

Had Rory to beat Rahm this week. 6 shot lead with 5 to play. Finishes bogey/double/bogey/double/par. Last par was a par 5, he was on in 2 and 3 putt from 30'. On 15, 16, 17, and 18 he missed a 5', 7', 5', and 7' putt.

Lost by a stroke. hno:

Seriously if I didn't know better felt like a total tank job.

Seriously though, go look at Rory's scorecards from this week. Insanity. Played these same holes -6 in the first three rounds. Yesterday he went birdie/par/birdie/birdie/birdie on that same stretch. He came to 14 today with a bogey-free -4 going.

Story has a happy ending though. Put a unit on Deebo Samuel to score first TD +1500. Total tilt bet, those pretty much NEVER hit.

I used to bet alot of golf a few years ago, not as much these days with the goofy schedule. I can feel your pain. It sucks to lose like that. On the other hand I can recall times where my guy seemed defeated with a few holes left and i would somehow pull out a push or win. If your 2 guys matched up are with 6 or 7 shots of each other its still can swing on the last day. One guy shoots -3, the other one +5 and your 7 shot lead just turned into a loss. Sucks but you have to chalk it up to bad variance. Like getting dealt a 20 on BJ and the dealer pulls 4 cards to get 21.

seemed to be in a good place in 2019, healthy mindset -had a spectacular 2019,................ covid-interupted 2020 hasnt been good for Rory. Putter has been flat out ugly, the mind is starting to go. He's a new dad to boot.
