Seeing a lot of hype on this kid!! Like serious hype! Being compared to Cam Newton big time by many reputable analysts.....I watched a couple videos he's HUGE 6'5 super athletic and has a cannon for an arm!

Any big Michigan fans know the scoop?? Is this all hype or this kid the real deal? Guess we'll see in Minnesota Saturday.....

Michigan fan here- interested to see the same to be honest. I liked what I saw from him last year. I also like what I've seen from Giles Jackson, that could be a really good duo going forward. However, I have low expectations for Michigan this year.

As big as Milton may be, He is going to be behind a completely new Offensive line and a young receiver core. Last year we had 4 O-Line go in the draft. We also lost DPJ in the draft last year, lost Tarik Black (not much of a loss from production standpoint) and Nico Collins in our Receiver core. That leaves us with Ronnie Bell and Giles Jackson spread out.

Hate to do it- But I'll be playing Minny +3 and the Under.

Another Michigan fan here.
OMG!! Urban Meyer says he looks like Cam Newton!! He can throw a football 75 yards on his knees!! He is 6'5" and can do a standing backflip!!!
Sounds good if plans on joining a circus. LOL
Word is he worked on his skills during off season with former Michigan QB Devin Gardner. Gardner threw a lot of int's while running for his life behind a bad O-line.
I have bet Michigan -3.5. Why?
Michigan has a loaded RB room. The O-line has one returning starter, a former starter out ly with ACL, and three other large linemen, and a great O-line coach in Ed Warinner. Not worried here. Minn. has one returning nose guard on D-line and a returning secondary. I expect Michigan to have success with the run, especially on the edges. This should help Milton get his "sea legs".
There are RUMORS floating around that one or two O-linemen for the Gophers are out, just rumors right now.
What is factual is that Minny has several covid positives. P.J. is not saying who or how many. Starters?? Don't know.
This game is for The Little Brown Jug trophy. Last time Michigan left Minnesota without the jug was 1977, won 16 games in a row at Minn since that time.
Milton has a cannon arm, no doubt. In limited playing time he was forcing throws. Word is he has worked on touch throws. To be seen.
Michigan really doesn't have that tall WR deep threat that I like to see. Nico Collins fit that bill but he opted out. Banking on that run game.
Michigan currently reports no players out with covid.
