Is it cruel to say we are saving the people that are sinking the boat.

True, but we owe most of the money to China so maybe we can tell them to go fuck themselves for screwing the world

I was just brainstorming back to past elections and remembering this was always an important topic. We are slaves to China

It's got no chance of correcting if the country doesn't completely open up NOW. Instead of generating revenues, this bullshit virus response is sucking revenues up at a suffocating pace. Gotta stop.

Even then it just seems just short of impossible at this point.

When there is another currency that can compete with the USD. Until then I don't think we see a president making it a priority.

The boat has been sinking even before the virus for many years.

I think it will be the eventual downfall of the united states. You can't continue to spend more than you are taking in year after year. A little debt might be ok relative to the size of your economy but neither party knows what a little debt is.

Trumps economic plan of cutting taxes and increasing spending when the economy was doing well is about as bad as it gets. If you are going to spend more than you are taking in the time to do it is when there is a major problem. There wasn't one.

They may talk about the debt but no one is really serious about the debt. I don't think Trumps lie on eliminating the debt is going to become a reality. Trump claimed he would eliminate the debt in 8 years......he must have been planning on his normal playbook....on page 12......run up the debt for 7 years and when it gets big.......file bankruptcy and screw as many people as possible.

Good points don’t see either party truly dealing with this. Regardless of who gets elected It’s a serious problem not far away

if Biden wins, the traumatized 'fiscal conservatives' will come back out.....but not right away......give it time.

the debt has risen a stunning 35% in 4 yrs. ..reportedly, unfortuantely some Tea Party members have landed in mental institutions, best wishes

I dont think paying it off really matters anymore, and it's not something I see happening ever. Now it's just a balancing act.
