Any Democrat that votes yes will immediately have an angry mob of liberals at their house using bullhorns and laser beams and high powered flood lights to harass them and their family and neighbors, day and night. This is the best that liberals have when they can't just burn the place to the ground. I would bet my last dollar that moderate dems were hoping McConnell had all the votes he needed so they could vote no and save their skin.
I also believe Murkowski told Mitch she'll vote yes just so that Collins can be a no vote and save her ass in Maine. She's not much better than a Democrat, but she's not a Democrat.
