Wisconsin vs Nebraska game has been cancelled & won't be rescheduled

Wisconsin announced Wednesday that it will pause all team-related activities for at least seven days due to an elevated number of COVID-19 cases within the program.

Six players and six staff members have returned positive test results, including head coach Paul Chryst. As a result, the Badgers' game against Nebraska on Saturday will not be played or rescheduled.

meanwhile HS football has been going strong for about 8 weeks all across the country. No cancellation of games. No problems.

Travel baseball been going strong for 4 months. No cancellation. No problems.

Nothing to see here, move along. Lots of crickets from the media on this matter.

It could be that those high school kids and travel baseball kids are still living under their parents' watch while these college students are on their own and living it up

We've had plenty of travel baseball and soccer tournaments down here lately and its been nice.

High school football actually starts tomorrow night and they'll be playing a 4 game season (sucks its not longer but these kids WANT to play)

Under parents watch. Meanwhile parents are at tournaments like it’s a normal day. No mask, no social distances. I don’t think it has anything to do with parents watch. Alabama and Georgia have packed HS games. No mask etc. And ESPN has showed these games for weeks. College players are going about their day like every other person behind closed doors.

I think to expose this media BS agent Donny Orange should flip switch. Show sympathy and express lives are at stake. Time to take bigger action. Watch the left get what they want. Then say the election and voting in person will be stopped and pushed back 30 days to ensure safety of the voters and American people. Then watch the outcry and how quickly the script changes. Easy way to expose the hypocrisy of these CV bullhorn folks. Because no way in hell they let voting get pushed back.

Roughly same number of deaths in 2020, as in 2019, as in 2018, as in 2017.

I'm hearing the same thing about there are parents not really wearing masks or social distancing.

What i meant my "under parents watch" is that these kids arent out at all hours of the night partying and many are in virtual school so they are not around people day to day.

I know for high school football tomorrow night, each player is allowed to have 4 tickets purchased. I think thats it though. No other people may attend.

Our soccer season starts next month and the NEW rules we have to follow as both parents and children are insane. NOT gonna be fun breathing into my mask on an 85 degree day while my sunglasses are fogging up like crazy
