Anyone stocking up on Guns/ammo these days

Was at Academy sports today to pickup a gun I ordered and the shelves were wiped out. Been that way since at least March, if not longer. Between Covid and a potential white house swap, demand seems higher than ever

i tried to order online from where I did when I got my first gun a few months back and they are completely sold out of 9mm ammo. Academy let me get one box of 50 rounds from the back, since I purchase my gun from them.

I have friends who are gun owners and tell me that ammo is scarce to say the least and guns are hard to find also

It was very difficult getting shotgun shells. 9 mm shells are impossible to find. Luckily I have a stash of 38 shells and some 45 shells.

It's scarce and tough to get right now. But if you look around online, you can usually find what you are looking for.

Just expect to pay a decent premium vs what you would have spent a year ago.

Keep checking the various websites daily. Between the different sites out there, I've been able to find what I want within a couple of days. It's hit or miss.

The one guy I work with goes to a popular gun store in the area says this is a line around the store which I have seen also and they get a shipment in and shortly there after the ammo and guns they get in are gone.
