What's on your table?

Dry brined mine..on the second day.. skin looks so tight I feel like it's going to crack open.
Butter it up w/ herbs 1/2 apple in the neck cavity then 325 for three hours unstuffed.

Keeping it simple Potatoes/ green beens/ dressing gravy with a chocolate soufflé my GFs kid is making.

Best day of the year.

Only thing I am looking forward to is pumpkin bread
After it is made you wrap it in foil....throw it in the refrigerator and the next day it is soft and moist and delicious

Happy Thanksgiving guys.

Dry brine is the way to go. So much easier than a salt water bath. Doing ours similar. Shooting it up with butter and using a garlic herb rub than onto the smoker.

You guys are getting me hungry.

Made fresh pumpkin pies two days ago with my sister and niece. They go with me and the salad I've been tasked with making to another niece's as my contribution to the family meal.

Can't wait.

Like the Bozz man said, Thanksgiving is my favorite day of the year.
