In every single game, they win anyhow

It's only smart if you're winning by 1 or 2

Some pussy ass mathematician is controlling sports now

Hahaha I had Texas Tech this time.
Now I'm even with the universe after having the Browns a couple weeks ago.

I lost today and last week

All of a sudden football players don't care about scoring and icing the game, they want to be called cerebral by ex jocks yelling at each on talk radio

Most of the time it’s the right play .
I have no idea the situation in this game but the browns game Chubb should have went in and scored .

They were up 3 that would have been a 2 score lead .

That is not the same situation as the Atlanta game a few weeks before

It was the same situation as Chubb. Ok St was up 6 with ~1m left, busts through the line and would have walked in, dove at 5 so they could take a knee.
My opinion is that in the NFL you take the knee, in college you should score. Potentially impacts your ranking and bowl game assignment.

I mean, you're gonna win the game either way, 100%. There's maybe something that could be said about avoiding injury by not making your defense go back out there and play a series.

A few weeks ago Arizona laying -2.5 against the Bills decides not to kick the extra point with mere seconds left on the clock. They said it was in case it gets blocked. They win by 2

Some people might say its the right call but it seems odd

If it gets blocked can it be returned or is it down at that spot?
If an XP is blocked and returned it is a safety, 2 points for Buffalo to tie the game in that situation. Just take that out of the realm of possibility.
Then they kicked off and Buffalo needed to run it back for a TD.

Now...if there was 20 seconds left or something and Buffalo could have gotten into FG range then yeah you obviously kick it.

You play to win the game. Stranger things have happened. It's certainly not 100%, as opposed to taking a knee, which has never failed in the history of football.

True. Here is a well known play but maybe not the previous play. Total head scratcher. One almost wonders if there was a fix

Players fumed over the call in the postgame locker room. Pisarcik had knelt down on the previous play, and they wondered openly why Gibson, who had a tense relationship with Pisarcik, would have had his quarterback hand off on the game’s final play.
