For everyone shitting on him for years for having a bad attitude with mike Mccarthy. Rolling his eyes in the huddle etc.....i think its pretty fucking clear now that the eye rolling was warranted

Rogers is an ass and McCarthy is not a good coach.

Those things are true now. And were true when McCarthy was in Green Bay.

Who didn't understand McCarthy was an average coach and Rodgers a superstar quarterback. 4-5th best in the league even in his "down years" and arguably the best to ever do it when he is on his game.

Rodgers is a good guy.

Sorry , not in my book. He's the reason they didn't go back to back in 96-97. Play calling against Denver was awful.

How many times have they reach b2b super bowls since he left?

Also Green Bay was dog shit before Holmgren and Wolf came on the seen. Wolf got him a very raw Favre that Holmgren molded into an all-time great.

I can give alot of credit to Wolf. Architect for that run. Holmgren very good with developing QBs. But game managing wasn't one of them.

He managed games fine for the 90s.

But yes. He should have run Dorsey Levens more in that second SB.

That Denver team though was highly highly underrated going into that game.

Exactly. Levins crushed that run defense. Abandoned it in 2nd half. Packers are my team and Farve my favorite player ofcall time. Was so fucking mad with what happened in 2nd half

Holmgren always abandoned the run. He had a defending super bowl champion and defending 2x(soon to be 3x) MVP at QB.
