They are calling this self sanctioning due to some less then ideal findings from the NCAA

This would be like the Jets announcing “Hey NFL , no playoffs for us this year .

We gonna remove ourselves from postseason consideration this year .

If I were the NCAA I would punish them double for this lol.

Majority of bowl games will be canceled anyways. Schools aren’t going to pay big travel bill to collect small payouts. NCAAf was going to be completely revamped anyways, covid just accelerated the death of current system.
