Well it's those totally dominating games during their 8-2 run which lead to me playing Bama, that ain't changing

They were holding opponents to an avg of 11 pts per game in the last several games prior to Florida. Their defense would need to play better to cover this number.

I think they gave up 48 pts to ole miss and then two weeks later shut Kentucky out and then hold Miss St to 3. What Defense shows up is the question

I am all over ND +19.5

Dame stock at all-time low. Wouldn't be completely shocked if they pulled off the upset.

As far as ND is concerned; if you toss out the two aberrations where they only scored 10 pts vs Clemson and 12 pts vs Louisville they avg 40.5 ppg.

Lets suppose they only score 35 in the bowl game. Alabama would still need 55+ points or more to cover.

I'm not making a case for either side yet but Alabama would need a big defensive game to cover this number.

I know some of you guys dont buy pts but I would buy ND up to 21 or Bama down to 17 respectively if I was to play it

Bama can play ND man to man on the outside and clog the middle. ND needs a run game to stay balanced and Bama will take the passing game away while maintaining a pass rush. ND may very well cover the 20 or whatever it gets to, but I doubt the game is competitive.

ND has not seen anything like this Bama team on offense.

As a ND fan, they are not scoring 35 vs Bama. Bama will score 35 vs them though. I can't see ND scoring 17.

You still like ND?

I haven't watched ND play that much this year. I was just going by their offensive stats and the fact that Florida scored 46 pts against Alabama and Ole Miss scored 48 against them.

If you think they put up 17 or less are you pounding Bama?

Bama’s defense is showing vulnerability at a bad time. May see a championship where defense has no say for once.

Upset to win or cover? No way in hell they win the game. It will be worse than the Clemson beat down ND just had. I will be mildly shocked if ND covers the spread.
