This card it a mile away, and the UFC has provided good entertainment thru covid. I kind of would rather see Zabit Magomedsharipov as the first main event of the year, since we have to wait so long and Zabit Magomedsharipov has a win over Calvin i have won good money on Calvin Kattar, but this one I have no clue. Max chin looked sold in both of the Alexander Volkanovski fights , dam those were good fights, to set up Zabit Magomedsharipov vs Alexander Volkanovski.

There is a handicapper on you tube who seem to have a good read on Ricky Simon so I'm not going to try and work out this fight.

This makes the card a lot more interesting, Li Jingliang gets short notice fight vs. Santiago Ponzinibbio at UFC Fight Island 7.

I'v bet Dusko Todorovic both times he has faught and ill keep riding his win streak. He is a product of Serbian Battle Championship. He is like betting on early Sean O'malley. Three fighter I'm looking to seeing in 2021 Sean O'malley, Khamzat Chimaev and Ilia Topuria.

How long can Anthony Hernandez last vs Rodolfo Vieira will be entertaining.

UFC 257: Poirier vs. McGregor 2, If this is going to be a PPV they should put the vacated lightweight title on the line.

PARLAY (2 TEAMS)
RODOLFO VIEIRA -502
(ANTHONY HERNANDEZ VRS RODOLFO VIEIRA) (UFC ON ESPN+ - MIDDLEWEIGHT 3 ROUNDS @ UFC FIGHT ISLAND - ABU DHABI, UNITED ARAB EMIRATES)
CARLOS FELIPE -195
(JUSTIN TAFA VRS CARLOS FELIPE) (UFC ON ESPN+ - HEAVYWEIGHT 3 ROUNDS @ UFC FIGHT ISLAND - ABU DHABI, UNITED ARAB EMIRATES)

Carlos Felipe absolutely has the advantage in experience with a dec loss to Sergey Spivak on his record (28-28, 29-27 Spivak) it should also be noted it was after an over three year layoff for Felipe; Justin Tafa has never gone more then 1 1/2 rounds. They have one fighter in common Yorgan De Castro. Carlos Felipe looked his best timing his punches when De Castro threw a kick and walking down De Castro and throwing knees to the body in the clinch and showed good cardio and good combinations of punchs. De Castro won by KO by a short right in the first to beat Justin Tafa who looked way better KOing Juan Adams, but Juan Adams is not a UFC level fighter any more and that was coming off a 45 second kO by G&P from Greg Hardy, that didn't help Juan Adams chin . If Adama had not fought Chris De La Rocha in his first fight he would have been cut by the UFC by now, Adam vs Chris De La Rocha is the best worst fight I have ever seen. Carlos Felipe has never been nocked out and has shown an outstanding chin, good boxing and De castros best kicks where not affecting him. Un till fighting De Castro , Justin Tafa only saw very low level of competition. I don't think Justin Tafa has much of a ground game and Sergey Spivak was not able to sub Felipe, Sergey Spivak has a sub win over both Tai Tuivasa and Tony Lopez. Carlos Felipe was a huge dog in his last fight and he really outclasses De Castro, now Felipe faces a lower level of competition and its a good match-up. Justin Tafa has not shown any ground game and his chin is questionable now. The last thing that impressed my about Felipe is his ability to mix up his punches and kicks and work the body, that will pay dividends in the second half of the fight, I just see Carlos Felipe winning on volume in the second and third rounds.

DUSKO TODOROVIC -157 (PUNAHELE SORIANO VRS DUSKO TODOROVIC)

This seem like the only fight where I know a fighter at -odds is going to show up; The matchup with Soriano will feature a battle of unbeatens records . Duško Todorović ran ruff shot thru three organizations before the UFC with a win over Michel Pereira before he moved up, he put on a boxing clinic vs Michel Pereira he best performance, Todorović does everything well he has no hole in his game, inspite of the fact that only one of his fights went the distance and need more ring experience. Punahele Soriano is primarily a striker and his two submission win have come over very bad grapplers, his last two win cam from Oskar Piechota and Jamie Pickett both who will not be in the UFC much longer. Todorović never panics when he is cage, he can take the fight to the ground where he will have the clear advantage, good top striking and good elbows on top. Duško Todorović broke Shota Gvasalia arm 180 degress in the wrong direction with a hip toss even thought it in the books as a KO/TKO · 0:18 · R1. Punahele Soriano has been training at Xtreme Couture i don't think it will be enough to challenge on the ground. At Height: 6'1" Todorović will have the height advantage.
I don't think Punahele Soriano standup is any better then Todorović last opponent Dequan Townsend. When Todorović was not able to finish Townsend , he dominated the fight on the first exchange on the ground and ended the fight. I see why they made this match, both fighter have good hands and KO power, both fighter feel comfortable fighting in a phone boot style. Todorović stood with both Dequan Townsend and Michel Pereira and Alexander Poppeck who went on the the DWCS. I think the odds makers have this one correct with Punahele "Story Time" Soriano ranked 44 and Todorović 56 but Todorović at -money ill take the better rounded fighter who has not been close to being tested, though his first UFC fight was a bit lackluster, and has not taken any damage up to this point. I see Todorović wining by decision on the feet, or but KO if this fight goes to the ground.

Joselyne Edwards +133

This is a set up fight for Joselyne Edwards, Yanan Wu missed weight (129 lbs) and would forfeit 30% of her purse to Mizuki Inoue in her last fight . In a fight contested entirely on the feet, Wu lost by way of a split decision. Mizuki Inoue is really a natural Strawweight and was at a massive size disadvantage . Wu was originally scheduled to face Bethe Correia, I though Bethe Correia had releases a statement announcing her UFC retirement. Yanan Wu record looks a little padded to me, losing to her first high level fight Yana Kunitskaya who is tuff as nails and in the UFC now. 2 0ut of 3 of Yanan Wu next fightes are vs winless fighter and she goes into the UFC to fight Gina Mazany ? Joselyne Edwards bread and butter is the arm bar, she uses this very effectively with he improved ground game, but in her last fight vs Pamela Gonzalez she seemed to add more Muay Thai knee based attacks to her game, winning the fight by KO in 28 seconds and took zero damage.

Joselyne Edwards started boxing when I she 13 years old, after four years of boxing, started doing MMA when I was 17. Then started doing jiu-jitsu and six months debuted in MMA. Ill Take a live dog in this one with the plus odds and comparable skillset.

AUSTIN LINGO -225 (JACOB KILBURN VRS AUSTIN LINGO)
Jacob Kilburn is in the bottom 10% of all fighters in the UFC, this is a total fade bet. Jacob Kilburn didn't show anything in his two past UFC fights, and has since changed training camps, but I don't think we are going to see a better version of Kilburn. Kilburn will ride off momentum of his two KO in Island Fights, and want to keep the fight standing, Austin Lingo will rather mix it up keeping this fight against the cage and to the ground, both of Kilburn UFC losses have come from Sub. A lot of people where not impressed by Lingo in the Youssef Zalal fight, he was outclasses but didn't give up and had some good standups, and good defense on the feet. Austin Lingo was on a 6 fight winning streak in LFA going into the Zalal fight. Youssef Zalal also went the distance with Ilia Topuria who I think is a future contender. Austin Lingo also has Ko power in his right hand that he showed in the Solo Hatley Jr. who is a high level fighter, his kick are fast and he is a fluid fight who does not waste any extra energy or motion, good faints good footwork. Jacob Kilburn has reached his ceiling, he has taken too much damage and is just not a UFC fighter.

Jairzinho Rozenstruik vs Cyril Gane joins UFC Fight Night lineup on March 13

Cyril Gane should be fighting Francis Ngannou.
Stipe Miocic should be fighting Jon Jones.

CARLOS CONDIT -205 (MATT BROWN VRS CARLOS CONDIT)

Another fade, Matt Brown and Ben Saunders should have retired, That was a hard fight to watch. He is not the fighter of 2016 who faught Donald Cerrone. Brown was expected to face Carlos Condit in 2018 However, he was pulled out from the fight due to a torn anterior cruciate ligament . The UFC really wants this fight. I Court McGee to beat Carlos Condit and a was very wrong. Carlos Condit just has more of his game left then 40 year old brown who had been KO in 3 of his last 6 fights until he stepped down in competition. Matt Brown is just here for the paycheck.

Double down on Carlos Condit, no way a dog win 4 fights in a row.
