Any day traders here? Looking for recommendations on computer bundles w/ 3 or 4 monitors. Thanks for feedback.

Let us know if you buy....and how it goes. I'm no 'day trader', but I do trade daily. I usually hold what I buy longer than a day though.

I hear ya, I am mostly a swing trader but do some day. I am ordering a new laptop this week but I am going to hold off on the bundle until we decide we are staying in our current house or moving. Most likely moving, so will wait until new house set up. I assume this all won't be complete for another 3-6 months but yes I will certainly let you know.

Nice. We're planning to move in the next 4 to 6 months also (from DC to Tampa or St. Pete). I've been working from home quite a bit since Covid, so it's allowed me to keep a closer track. I've bought some stocks (mostly through recommendations here and another board I frequent) this year that I never would have considered in the past. I want to ease out of some of the stocks I currently hold, some are down right now so I'm reluctant to sell at a loss...but I'm worried what happens w/ this new administration. Anyhow, good luck w/ the move and I'm always interested in hearing about trading topics.

You could sell off the losses to offset the gains you want to get out off , so no tax effect .

Coach, what is the other board you visit? This board is very helpful but the more threads I can read the better.

Mods, I apologize if I am not allowed to ask this question and if I'm not please delete this post

I go to Yahoo finance 'conversations' board. I also visit a UF (Florida) board where there's a financial section. I just recently got in Biz's email list (see his thread here in this forum).

The Yahoo board is more wide open - anyone and everyone posts. You'll see on post saying "this is the best stock ever...buy, buy, buy!!" Then the very next post will be "get out now!!" So, you have to weed through. I click on "most recent" (comments/posts) and read through. There are usually comments underneath (each post). I've learned a few names on there that seem reputable (some seem like they're trolling).

On the UF board I post on, it's pretty much the same guys - like here. So you know you're not getting somebody trolling or just posting bullshit.

I wish we had a little more activity here (maybe 5 to 10 more posters actively involved). Boz, MF, PF, and a few others are regulars, then there's a few pop ins here and there (like Clover, who posted about TBLT).

While I am waiting until we decide/move to set up, I did order a new laptop that just arrived about half hour ago. I got a MacBook Air which I sued a couple yrs ago and liked (had it thru a job) but this one doesn't "feel" as good, although maybe I need time to get used to it. The keyboard seems awful. I am actually typing this from my DELL. I hope I do not regret getting the macbook.
