Former Los Angeles Dodgers manager Tommy Lasorda has died at the age of 93, the team announced.
He suffered a sudden cardiopulmonary arrest at his home Thursday night and was taken to the hospital, where he was pronounced dead less than an hour later.
Lasorda managed the Dodgers from 1976 to 1996, winning two World Series titles, four National League pennants and eight division crowns. He was named NL Manager of the Year twice and won 1,599 career games.

    Everyone dies.

Tommy Lasorda lived a LONG and great life. The type of life 99.9% of us would envy. When measured with success and longevity.

It's sad when anyone dies. But Tommy lived a great life. A long life. So on the scale of sad deaths, this one is very low. Like at the very bottom of said scale, low.

I'm kind of amazed he lived as long as he did. He's looked unhealthy since as far back as I can remember, and I'm 46.

RIP, he was a great baseball legend for sure.

Wow. That's harsh old man. In your old age you have a lot to learn still. Son.

I don't wait for people to die and idolize them on a forum. That's a sad life.

And in addition, a sad life to wait for a liberal to post something and call them Satan. Every time they post. Like you do.

Tommy Lasorda seemed like a good dude. Lived a good life. RIP.

I hope for peace in your life old man. You need to stop hating.

Sometimes there's simply no need to incite anger. A thread like this is one of those times

One should always choose their fights wisely

Some of those old clips of him arguing with umpires were classic. That's a lost art in MLB.

I know, with challenges and now the pandemic, they're ruining the game.

    I miss those moments

I'm not sure who you are addressing Willie. But if you read my first post. It was pretty level headed. I paid homage to a man that lived a good life. No reason to be sad over his passing. Pay homage to his greatness. But none of us knew him. His family and everyone that knew him should be sad. We should celebrate his life in his passing.

One person got mad. And said FUCK YOU! He's an angry old hermit. He needs some love. IRL.

Yes, but even better is a couple of rants when he went off on a tirade with reporters after a game. Not as good as number one all time Lee Elia but still top ten. i don't know how to post videos but if someone could they are great. One i remember is question about what do you think of Dave Kingmans performance today after he hit three home runs against the Dodgers.

He was with the Dodgers organization for 71 years and married for 70 years. A very good life doing something he loved doing. Any of us should be so lucky.
