Three days before The Game. Fields practiced yesterday, will have extra padding Monday night.
Rumor is Buckeye D-line has some covid issues, that could open the door to more Bama runs. But I doubt it.
Buckeyes not to release players out of game until 2 hours before game.
Looking at these two teams it appears no lead is safe, both can strike quickly and both have defensive issues.
Bama gets the nod but this spread moved to -9 at my book. So here is where I went today;

Ohio St +10.5 & Over 69.5 @ +180 for 1.5 units. I like Bama to win this but that's a lot of points!! Maybe middle it on Monday if line drops back. Do like it to be high scoring though.

Ohio State TT Over 33.5 @ -112 for 1.5 units Again, I'm taking the high scoring road, Buckeye offense better than Florida and Miss. IMO.

Over 76.5 @ +104 for 2 units Added a point to get to +104. Eleven td's gets a win, a lot but these two can get it there.

Looking to play props on Monday, good chance I will be in a casino and make my plays just before game time, so they won't get posted here.

Curious to see;
Fields rushing yards
(if it's even offered) Against Clemson I bet the Under 50 yds and lucked out, he had 53 yds with the 2nd quarter hit and then 2 sacks brought it down to 42. What now?? 30???

Olave receiving yards
Sermon rushing yards
Fields passing yards

Jones passing yards
Harris rushing yards
Smith yards receiving

Will both teams score at least 30. I saw a -155 for yes on this one.

Will either quarterback NOT finish the game? +300 for YES (might be a good insurance bet if your on Buckeyes)

Good stuff.

Two hours before the game they will tell us...

What we all want to know is:

  • how dinged is Fields? (I am guessing no matter what they say we won't really know until he plays a few series, he might be OK, he might be limited)

  • what significant players that played vs Clemson will not play vs Bama?

  • Any significant ones that sat vs Clemson playing vs Bama?

Just my opinion; I have watched Fields the last two years. When he goes down he lays there like he is done for the season. Last year vs Penn St on a 4th down play at the end of the game he got his leg rolled on. Laid out on the turf for several minutes. Next week he was sharp as hell against Michigan. In that Michigan game one of his own linemen rolled on his leg, again he laid out for a few minutes, hobbled to the sidelines, missed a play and came in to throw a laser accurate touchdown his very first play back.
Sound familiar? He did the exact same thing against Clemson and then you see him chringing in pain after that. When he hurt his thumb you see him flexing it after every throw.
He got banged up, no doubt, but really hurt? I don't think so. It was 4 minutes from the time of the hit until he threw that touchdown. Watching my reply on my dvr he was down for 1-1/2 minutes. Then they review the targeting. At 2.5 minutes after the hit they show Fields standing on the sideline drinking from a water bottle, that was 1 minute after he got up. Four minutes after the hit Fields trots back on the field. NEVER saw him go to the tent at this point, couldn't have, not enough time. He came right back in and threw a touchdown.
After the touchdown throw he must of went to the tent and got his shots. If he was seriously hurt he couldn't of thrown that td.

Word I have so far as starters is at least a DT and DE.
Could be worse, who knows?
Was hoping someone paying attention to who boarded plane and who did not get on would have given word, but nothing other than freshman RB Williams didn't go. Basically a third stringer.

That was the only ticket I cashed last night, 3 units on Fields Over 42.5 yds. Other than that got hammered. Sermon going out on first play didn't help.
Bama on a mission and they got it done!
