Ricky Simon - ITD & SUB ...Simon has the clear advantage on the mat, but adhering to a gameplan has never been the strong point of Simon's career. Pirrello is tighter on the feet, but Simon's power is also a threat. Maybe we get to see a war in the pocket before a bit of grappling action and likely Simon SUB.

Omari Akhmedov by KO ...It'll be an interesting round 1 as Breese's range and jab will likely cause the Russian some difficulty, yet the Brit's questionable chin/heart will be exposed eventually as Akhmedov refuses to pull his foot off the gas pedal and gets the finish.

Lerone Murphy ...While Andrade still possesses the quality to rag-doll opponents on the mat, it's difficult to see him overwhelming Murphy. The Brit throws dangerous knees, and has more than proven his ability to end a fight if he can gain the upper ground on the mat. Tough call but I could see a round 1 KO and if Andrade survives...it could easily go the distance.

Tyson Nam -Round 1 ...Schnell is a solid fighter, with the grappling ability to punish Nam, but his questionable chin will be the biggest factor. Churning a hectic volume striking game could easily out-work Nam on the scorecards, but a strong chin would be necessary. Nam has been fighting at 135, but he cut to 125 pounds for this one. He is going to have above average power for the division and he does a good job setting up his shots with feints and leg kicks. In interviews Schnell has said he wants to stand and strike with Nam...if he stays true to this game-plan, his night is going to end early.

Viviane Araujo ...Araujo is a blue chip athlete in a division with very little quality. It says a lot when Roxanne Modafferi is held up as a ranked fighter with top IQ/ability. The power and speed of Araujo will be the greatest equalizer of Modafferi's calculated gameplan. Modafferi will be at an advantage if she can take this one to the mat. She does a good job using her size and strength to control position, but her offensive grappling does leave a lot to be desired. Still, if she can frustrate Araujo she should be able to close the skill gap on the feet. When this fight is on the feet, Araujo should be able to box circles around Modafferi. Roxanne is tough and will keep coming forward, but she’s nowhere near the level of striker that Araujo is. Big issue for Roxy is Araujo has better than a 90%t takedown defense. The fight likely takes place primarily on the feet where Araujo is the far more technical and developed striker. I love Roxy but have to back the more gifted and athletic fighter. Roxy's durability will still most likely lead to a decision loss.

I cant STAND Roxanne. She annoys me beyond belief, lol. Ill give her credit how shes been able to win despite being sooo unathletic. But I have money on Viviane even though I know nothing about her :)

Vinicius Moreira by SUB ...Horrendous match-up that should be nowhere near the UFC. Villanueva's striking in his best asset, yet his sloppy volume striking is effective only at regional level. While he may prove heavy to takedown initially, Moriera is far more skilled than his opponent and should be able to find the kill pretty early on. The sub is only 180 vs 175 ITD so I rode the latter.
