there is no next. this is flawed logic IMO. i think its safer to assume this was once in a life time opportunity where it wasn't just backing a random stock, it was to have a war with wall st. cannot do this on multiple fronts.

Thoughts on AMC? It is only up about 50% before all this madness started and most of the shorts need to be covered Mon-Wed next week. Seems like it could spike huge.

Also, AMC does have some long-term utility and viability as a business so if you get smoked, you can just hold for a bit unlike Gamestop.

No sticker shock with AMC either...$200 per for Gamestop getting up there for the zoomer retail crowd

I jumped in on AMC and NOK this morning to see what happens. They didnt go up and and came down and I jumped out after an hour ( I get bored easily ).

With that said. I dont think the reddit crowd is done. It is a matter of picking the stock(s) that the crowd gets behind. Once there is movement on a stock then momentum trader will jump on the bandwagon. Then you can see a large increase in the stock prices. The angle with large shorts is definitely a very interesting angle that some smart reddit guys saw and capitalized on.

The little main street guy wasnt the only one driving GME up.

The link to the zerohedge article on silver talked about the manipulation of the price of silver. I personally think that with the amount of money the government is printing that we will see two things.....the dollar devalued (government wants to see this so they are paying off the debt with money that is worth less) and there will also be inflation (another thing the government has already said they want). With those two things gold and silver should have their day.

Precious metals are traditionally a hedge for inflation.

Based on historical price ratios of gold to silver....right now silver should be higher. I think silver should be in the 30 to 35 range.

I don't see why they would keep pumping future stocks if there aren't shorts to squeeze. That was the whole point.

I get that. I am looking at how I can make money. There is a whole list of companies with shorts on it. There needs to be an effort to squeeze the short. Which is the next one is the million dollar question.

limit buy order at $5.25 ish--comes to you or no go , gotten assume $5 floor holds (strong horizontal support) , -- would be a gap fill and shoot back up , the breadth of the candle hopefully similar to today's. Vol dropped bigtime, assuming do to platform issues

AMC at $14 extended trading, GME 390, both up huge overnight

Seems like the brokers are restricting margin trading but not buying too much

They've both retreated since open, momentum seems to be waning

A lot of the runup probably wasn't even retail, just frontrunning retail and getting out
