Also growing up my dad collected silver coins and have followed silver my entire life. I remember in the late 70's and the Hunt brothers driving the price of silver. My dad sold a $100 of silver quarters and went and bought a new truck. One of his best scores of his life. When they quit having silver in quarters in 1964 he started saving them thinking the price of silver would go up and the quarters would be worth more as silver than as a quarter. When he went to sell the quarters he took my brother with and the guy buying had two armed guards there with stacks of cash. He gave them the silver and left with cash. There were a bunch of people selling. About two weeks later the market crashed when it came out about the Hunt brothers. He sold a good chunk near the top. Good for him!!

I was running on the treadmill at the gym earlier and saw that - it was on one of the tv's overhead, so I couldn't hear what they were saying. What caused the run up? I thought the company was going bankrupt/out of business.

I was in Louisville last weekend and drove by a huge warehouse in Shepardsville (just south of Louisville) and there was a big Game Stop sign on the warehouse and a "now hiring" banner. I thought, "WTF?"
