For all the hype regarding the Chiefs and Patrick Mahomes, there is a perfect super bowl system (5-0) based on regular season numbers that is on the Bucs side. While I'm not ready to list the system here, I can show you the five teams it went against and the years they happened:

1968 Colts - lost 16-7 to the NY Jets
1983 Redskins - lost 38-9 to the L.A. Raiders
1984 Dolphins - lost 38-16 to the 49ers
2001 Rams - lost 20-17 to the Patriots
2009 Colts - lost 31-17 to the Saints

I discovered this system back during the 2001 season and posted repeatedly on this site that New England was going to defeat the greatest show on turf. And I was right.

Don't care if you list the system, you posted the play. We choose to follow, fade, or ignore.

Not sure youre system, but first game is moot? It was the merger and Joe was told hed win the Championship as a 14pt dog I believe they were? To entice people to watch the game as the Colts conference was simply dominant. Had nothing to do with anything really. Old Joe couldnt keep his mouth shut about it so he instead guaranteed the win which had more glued to the game. It was the beginning of the sports entertainment business as we know it!

Looks like it probably has something to do with fading the highest scoring team or team with most passing yards

no then the year that the high scoring / record setting manning led broncos who lost to the
best seahawk team ever
would be part of this 'system'

system or not bucs would have to play the game of their lives.
bucs are so inconsistent we dont know which team shows up

football changes thru the ages - i cant see an antiquated system giving any help to tampa

Rams-NE
System is "games the other team stole signals"?

(WRs Issac Bruce and Torrey Holt both were in the local paper saying when they lined up the NE safeties were whispering the plays to the rest of the D, using Ram nomenclature, everything. The article was scrubbed and they were told to STFU for the good of the NFL)

Found this elsewhere.

Patrick Mahomes has lost four games outside of Kansas City in his career and it wasn’t for his offensive heroics as the Chiefs averaged 38.5 PPG in the defeats.

  • 2019 - Chiefs 32 at Titans 35
  • 2018 - Chiefs 31 at Seahawks 38
  • 2018 - Chiefs 51 at Rams 54
  • 2018 - Chiefs 40 at Patriots 43

You need to learn SB history, read or watch any videos surrounding SB III. Namath and the Jets were an 18 point underdog and he truly believed it would happen.

Means nothing unless youexplain the system

I agree.

FWIW.
The "System" is non existent if its over a 50+ year span with only 5 occurrences. I would call it simply Circumstantial.

On a Humorous note.:

Here is a Marc Lawrence like Trend. LOL>
This trend has NEVER lost!
Play on any team in the Super Bowl - that was a winner in their last game, that played the prior game in a cold city location when the temperature was under 80 degrees in January, but was cold enough to snow, and had at least one caucasian QB who won the game the week before, but did or didn't cover the spread, but needs to win this game providing there is a QB that is older or younger than the other by at least 10 years, but may or not cover against the spread, while each team has a winning record against the other during the regular season, but either won or lost by 3 points or less, who won in the stats, or had more turnovers than the opponent, who could have been the home dog by almost the same spread in this upcoming game, while neither team scored over 27 points nor less than 24 but happen to be playing in the same location for the Super Bowl that the regular season game was played - but has at least one QB that is now playing in a different conference for the first time, who was expected to be washed up by his former team, which was originally in the same conference as the team he is now playing in this SB, but in different divisions, of which he beat that team last year, but actually won his new conference, Conference Championship game to get here as a underdog - in 2 of 3 prior playoff games - all on the road - but won all 3 SU.

Play on The Winner to cover the spread. (Just as a back up, play the game in the second half if it gets one sided on the scoreboard in the first half.)

Laugh all you want but what this system does is spot an overrated team in the Super Bowl.
