Something I've been having decent success with

Observe games with a team favored by at least 8 points.

In the first quarter watch for the other team to get a lead and wait for live betting to get to get a better line. For example get -4 on the original-8 line when the favorite goes down five points in the first quarter quarter. In the NBA that first quarter lead means absolutely nothing so you're getting a free 4 points.

I did it tonight on Celtics. They were -8.

Got them at -4.5 midway first quarter. Will start keeping track amd posting some to see if it works long term or not

I honestly don't know at this point but I like the idea and it's simple. Just takes patience and timing

But sports books have caught on to a lot of that .

on 2/12

Lakers were -8 vs Memphis .

They got down 20-2 in the first Q and it only moved the line 8 points .

so it took 18 points to move the line 8 points .

They came back back and ended up covering the original spread

It worked tonight. No clue if long term it works but I'm going to keep trying the method.

And it worked perfectly because they won by 7 so didn't cover original spread but covered the live spread after falling behind in first quarter

Live betting is where the money can be made. Been following this guy at the casino he only bets live action. He's killing it.

Yeah first half NBA take good value against the closing line. Works all ways. Can get good ML odds on short dogs that go down 8-10 also.

I wouldn't suggest doing it blindly as a moneymaking strategy. A lot of times I'll pick a side I kinda like ahead of time (but not enough to warrant a normal play) and then hope for a much better number - if I don't get it, on to the next one.

However 100% of the time if I just want action on a game I just turned on and didn't bet, I'll just take whichever side is value vs closing.

Last weekend Draftkings had a promo with NBA money lines. Of the 6 money lines I bet where the team was a 7 point or higher favorite I was only 3-3.....meaning they don't always come back when behind.

Is fan duel the same thing as an off shore sports book (i know FD is legal if you live in that state?

What i mean is, if you give them $500, then you have $500 to play with. NO credit? Make bets on the app? When you want to cash out, you just request cash out and i assume they ******/venmo/zelle your funds?

Cleaned up on live bets yesterday in ncaa. Obviously didn't post the plays so for our purposes it's a moot point.

But got michigan +7.5, Penn state +12.5, northwestern +1.5 all live

Trying notre dame tonight. They were -8.5 pregame. Got them +1.5 when they fell down 12
