I'm guessing someone who actually knows something probably just told Biden that $15 by 2025 nationwide is just a total no go that would have pretty bad intended consequences so they let the most centrist Dems take the fall for it and called it a day. There is a reason Dems aren't fighting for it at all, they tried to use the senate parliamentarian as an off ramp.
Agree w/ those that say $15 is obv absurd for min wage. $9-10 is prob fine and after that make it a states rights issue. Some states/cities can handle 15 like SF/Seattle/Boston/NYC/LA where billions in capital flows to and most of the states would be better off at a lower number.
I'm not even sure if FL can handle it, some parts prob can but entire state seems strong to me. But whatever, atleast it is a state issue and can be reversed easier if it goes horribly. Or businesses can leave FL if it doesn't work. Or it will be such a roaring success that others can copy it, etc...
